Okay, fellas, since Hollywood can't do anything right anymore, we did their job for them. The Daily Wire's newest movie is an ode to the great funny action films of the 80s and 90s. Good guys win, bad guys lose. No one apologizes for it. Check out Run Hide Fight Infidels, now streaming only on The Daily Wire. We've all heard radio advertisements about owing the IRS money. They lean on fear and try to frighten you into calling. Tax relief advocates does things differently. Whether you owe 5,000, 50,000 or 500,000, TRA offers an actual solution. Do not lose hope. TRA could reduce or even eliminate what you owe the IRS. Their passion is taxes and helping individuals and businesses settle their IRS problems. They've earned over 1,000 5-star Google reviews and an A-plus from the Better Business Bureau. There is no need to fear the IRS any longer. Substantial relief programs are available that can give you a fresh start, so do not delay. Visit tra.com, that is tra.com, or call 800-575-4908.

That is, once more, 800-575-4908.

Tax Relief Advocates. Real solutions for real people. This episode is brought to you by Cardiff, North America's favorite small business lender with over $12 billion funded since 2004 Applying under 3 minutes for same-day funding up to $500,000 at cardiff.co.noles.

A Republican campaign ad portrays young white men as lazy welfare queens. That should bring back the disaffected fellas, huh? The ones that the party is hemorrhaging. Then, speaking of young people, queer and trans identity is plummeting among young adults, which is pretty strange for a supposedly innate and immutable characteristic. And then, just days after the Pope's warning to Europe against assisted suicide, the Netherlands euthanizes, quote unquote, a two-year-old boy. This is just the beginning. I'm Michael Knowles. This is The Michael Knowles Show.

Welcome back to the show. Are you the only person on the Internet who has not yet seen Run Hide Fight Infidels? Don't be that guy. Don't be the last one who's out of the loop, who's not doing the memes, who hasn't had the joy and entertainment of watching Run Hide Fight Infidels, and who doesn't know the stakes, despite the semi-farsical nature of the movie, doesn't know the very real stakes of this election. You gotta go to dailywire.com/subscribe and watch Run Hide Fight Infidels today. Speaking of things that you watch on screens, I don't know, that was kind of a weak transition. I'll work, I'll do better next time. There is a Republican campaign ad that has taken over the Internet, not necessarily for the right reasons. It's a campaign ad coming out of Arkansas. It's from Sarah Sanders, the governor there, whom I like very, very much. And I feel that she is personally being dragged a little bit unfairly for this. But the campaign ad as such is driving people crazy. It's an ad against people abusing the welfare system, which is all good. Republicans, centrists, independents, disillusioned liberals should all agree with the message. The issue with the ad that is driving people crazy is that the supposed welfare abuser here is a young white man.

SPEAKER_2 (3:28)

Yeah, you want some of this? Come on. Me, Brad. Brad has turned relaxing into a full-time profession.

But you, you actually work hard. You pay taxes to cover welfare for guys like Brad who just choose not to work.

That's why I launched a welfare-to-work requirement. Almost there. Now, more Arkansans are working than ever before.

Michael Knowles (3:58)

Okay. All right. So the problem is the Brads, according to the campaign ad. However, we all know that the problem with welfare abuse is not the Brads. It's the Abdullas, if you look in places like Minnesota and Ohio, it's the Chenequas. I don't think you can get away with doing an ad about the Chenequas. It's the, but it's not generally the Brads. We have the numbers to back this up. The population of Arkansas is 68 to 70% white.

The black population is about 15%, Latino population, eight or 9%.

Then you have Asian, American Indian, Pacific Islander. They make up the very small number of the rest of the people. So that's the just demographic of Arkansas. Compare that to welfare use. Let's just look at SNAP benefits, because that's the biggest one other than Medicaid. But the Medicaid numbers are almost exactly the same.

You got 70% of the population is white, but only 57.8% of the welfare users are white. You've got 15% of the population is black, a little under 21% of the welfare users are black. So, black people are disproportionately likely to use the welfare programs. You've got 8% or 9% of the population is Hispanic. Almost 11% of the welfare users are Hispanic. So, disproportionately, the welfare users are Hispanic. Then multiple races, Asian, so on and so forth. When you look at Medicaid, the numbers are basically the same. Fewer black people use Medicaid, more Hispanic people use Medicaid, but the white percentage is roughly the same. Okay, so why, if you have this one group... Oh, by the way, we didn't even get into sex. Women are more likely to use the welfare programs than men are. So why, in this ad, you are identifying as the great culprit of welfare abuse, the single demographic least likely to abuse welfare.
