Around 2 p.m. on January 6th, 2023, a Richnick Elementary School in Newport News, Virginia, a black six-year-old boy pulled a 9-millimeter Taurus handgun from his backpack and shot his first-grade teacher, Abby Zwirner, in the middle of class. There was no provocation. The bullet entered Zwirner's hand and lodged in her chest, nearly killing her. When police arrived, another school employee, a reading specialist, quote, unquote, was holding the child, almost as if she was trying to protect him from the police, even though he clearly posed a danger to her and everyone else in the room.

And then the boy started talking. Now, this is body cam footage that took more than three years to release to the public, supposedly because of routine bureaucratic holdups.

As you watch this, you can come to your own conclusions about the actual reason that they withheld it for so long. Watch.

SPEAKER_2 (0:54)

He just admitted that he had one.

Matt Walsh (0:58)

He had one bullet.

SPEAKER_2 (1:04)

Stop.

SPEAKER_3 (1:06)

Let's leave the gun there.

SPEAKER_4 (1:11)

I told the AP that there was a threat earlier about it. That is the time, last year.

SPEAKER_2 (1:21)

He is 6 years old.

SPEAKER_5 (1:23)

He has been on a modified schedule.

SPEAKER_6 (1:25)

His mother is to pick him up at 2.30. This is his first week without his mother coming to school with him.

SPEAKER_7 (1:32)

1346, myself in 2347, and the sheriff's deputy are inside room 11 with the suspect. Gun is secured.

SPEAKER_4 (1:45)

And I called 911 when I heard that I am the new specialist.

SPEAKER_2 (1:48)

I came down the hall.

SPEAKER_8 (1:56)

We got some small handcuffs.

SPEAKER_7 (2:05)

It's over here on the floor.

SPEAKER_2 (2:07)

When you shot the gun, did anything hurt you?

SPEAKER_5 (2:09)

No.

SPEAKER_4 (2:10)

Let me see your hands.

SPEAKER_7 (2:12)

Nobody has touched them.

SPEAKER_5 (2:13)

Where is the weapon? It's on the floor.

SPEAKER_7 (2:16)

It's over there, whore!

SPEAKER_4 (2:17)

Stop. That's not f***ing you.

SPEAKER_7 (2:19)

That's not how we do it.

SPEAKER_6 (2:21)

F***, bitch.

His, uh... I mean, he does have the gun resonating, looks like.

SPEAKER_7 (2:28)

Okay. Let's just not touch his hands or anything, okay?

SPEAKER_2 (2:32)

Yeah.

SPEAKER_5 (2:35)

Alright. My mom had this.

SPEAKER_7 (2:40)

Six years old.

SPEAKER_2 (2:42)

Yes.

SPEAKER_6 (2:43)

I stole it from my mom. Okay, buddy.

SPEAKER_7 (2:47)

What's your name?

SPEAKER_6 (2:50)

If you want a piece of me, come get it on my phone.

SPEAKER_2 (2:54)

Your name?

His mom is to supposedly... I don't care if you call backup, I don't care if I go to jail, bitch. We know you know that language and you know that's not appropriate.

SPEAKER_6 (3:07)

Mrs. Kovacs is not happy with that.

Matt Walsh (3:13)

What he said was, F you, shut the F up, ho. I stole that gun from my mama. I don't care if I go to jail. If you want a piece of me, come get it, among other things. That's a six-year-old child talking to police officers and a reading specialist. How does the specialist handle all this? Well, she tells police he's on a modified schedule. Then she tries to inform the child that, well, that's not how we speak to each other. She politely checks his hands to make sure he didn't injure himself while he was trying to murder his teacher. In fact, I think I heard her say, did you hurt yourself when you shot the gun?

I believe was what she said. If you didn't know the context and you take out the reference to the gun and if the police weren't there, just based on how the woman is dealing with the boy, you would assume that he got in trouble for like throwing a paper airplane in class or maybe shoving a kid in the hallway or something. In fact, based on her demeanor and how she's treating him, you might think that the boy isn't in trouble at all. You might think that the teacher is comforting him because of something that happened to him. Maybe he got bullied on the playground and now he's sad and has a tummy ache. It's a microcosm of America, post-civil rights era. On the one hand, you have a barbaric, dangerous criminal. Then you have the clueless coddling white woman who's acting as if she's talking to a normal, functioning, well-adjusted human being. There's a 100 percent chance that this woman and every other woman in the public school system thinks that she can save this child. She can make everything better. She can sit him down on the carpet and maybe read him The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Then he'll be off to Harvard and Fortune 500 companies will line up to give him jobs that he's not qualified for. We can all pretend that he's actually successful. That's the liberal fantasy playing out in this footage and in this woman's head. Meanwhile, everybody with a pulse understands exactly what's going on here. This child almost certainly cannot be reformed. Barring some kind of miraculous intervention of some kind, he will just become even more dangerous and volatile as he gets older. He'll murder someone before long if he's allowed to roam free. I mean, he's already tried it at six, it's guaranteed to happen. Already at six years old, he is a menace to society. Now, is that his fault? Not really. I mean, he's six years old. He's just a few years past being a toddler. You don't become a cold-blooded killer at six except by being conditioned that way in an absolutely horrific hellish environment. This child has been raised, to the extent that we can say he's been raised at all, by barbarians, and now he is one himself. So, if any bleeding hearts out there want to say that, well, this poor little boy is a victim of his circumstances, and it's not his fault, he turned out that way. I agree, for the most part. If you were born to his mother, and you were raised in that home, and you had his brain and his rock bottom IQ, you would have ended up exactly like him, and you would have done exactly what he did, because you would be him.
