Hey, remember when school shootings were like a thing that would happen? Remember when that was like a far larger part of the public discourse? I mean, thank God we don't have as many mass shootings now as we did during the Obama era. But we still have plenty of shootings that take place at schools rather than the more colloquially understood school shooting. But I think the reason the media doesn't report on those so much anymore is because quite often they're just minorities bringing guns to school and then using them against each other on impulse, rather than what you may imagine with some kind of premeditated diabolical plot to kill a bunch of students at a school or something. And sometimes these cases deal with kids as young as six years old, such as this one. And we're just now getting the body cam footage of the incident. And it's kind of insane to watch this literal six-year-old be completely unapologetic about having shot his teacher and he's being literally hugged by staff members. And basically, it's a microcosm of our whole problem, which is thinking we can just take these instruments and use them to civilize those who are unapologetically uncivilized, that are unapologetically incompatible with civilization. And call me a cynic, but if it's six, you're already shooting your teachers with stolen handguns.
I don't know that there's any amount of hugs or love or education or after school programs or whatever other liberal proposal that we want to spend another trillion dollars in like five decades experimenting with. I don't know that any of that will work. And in fact, it hasn't. And we're going to get much deeper into that here today. Then the Trump administration declares fricking war on big tech companies for having enriched themselves through the systematic displacing of the American worker through H1B visa programs. And finally, we do a little bit of Patriot Q&A, where I answer your questions about weddings, optimism, James Fishback and misogyny in no particular order. Big day today. Do you stay tuned?
Hello there, ladies and gentlemen. Welcome to The John Doyle Show. So recently, a viral police body cam video went around, shockingly, displayed poor behavior on the part of the criminal, rather than the police officer the criminal was dealing with. And it did not in any way actually show any kind of police brutality, which is actually what body cams were intended to display. If you recall, the liberal activists really believed that if we could simply put the body cams on the police officers, it would corroborate what activists were claiming was going on for decades in interactions between police officers and minorities. Instead, it has produced in content that is so insane, it would be beyond the most racist expectations of the most racist person you would have interacted with, I suppose, in like the 1970s or 80s or whenever. They were like, if only we could put cameras on police officers, I don't really know. Anyway, in this case, the video shows the aftermath of what happened when a six-year-old student, by the way, I have not even mentioned the race of this student yet.
The viewer can decide his own experience, I suppose. You can imagine, you'll see in the video in a second, he stole his mother's Taurus G2A, shot his teacher with it. And many of you probably have actually seen the video already, but I think it's really worth getting into the details of everything that actually happened here. The young shooter was identified in court as JT, and has since had his identity protected, but this was not actually the first incident with this kid. Of course, it never is. In kindergarten, he tried to chokeslam his teacher.
Like, you know, like the big show, you know, when you did the chokeslam? Yeah, he tried to do that, like to his teacher. Later on, he was logged as having cursed at adults. He tried to whip another child with a belt. Two days prior to the shooting, which occurred, by the way, in 2023, he'd broken his teacher's cell phone, his teacher, Abigail Zwirner, broke her cell phone, and he received for this a one-day suspension.
On January 6th, his first day back, he chose to, I guess, celebrate Patriot Day a little bit differently. He brought the handgun to school, which, again, he stole from his mother. He showed it to children at recess, you know, how you may have done with, like, your binders of Pokemon cards. They do things a bit differently in their culture, and then he threatened to shoot the kids if they told on him. So the exact timeline of what occurred was basically as follows. Between 1115 and 1130, Abigail tells the assistant principal, Ebony Parker, that JT seemed a bit off. He seemed to be in a violent mood and had threatened a younger student. Around 1145, a teacher was told by one of the kids that JT had a gun in his backpack. Around 1230, that teacher searched the backpack, found nothing, but reported that Abigail had seen him move something from the bag into a pocket. Assistant principal Ebony Parker was once again told this. Before one o'clock, there was a third report where a child described as visibly shaken, said JT had a gun at recess, displayed the gun, and then threatened to shoot anybody who told on him. There was a counselor named Rolanzo Rawls. He relayed this again to the assistant principal Ebony Parker. A staffer asked if they could search the boy. Parker refused to let them, saying that his mother was on the way to pick up the boy, deal with him, and so on. So they should just wait for all of that before getting involved in trying to stop and frisk this poor child. And so between that and the shooting, Abigail texted someone telling them, JT claimed to have a gun on him, and the administration is not doing anything to help out. There was no search, no removal, no lockdown, no call to the police, nothing like that. So the assistant principal actively refused all of this and just wanted it to all go away. Hey, you know, the mom is gonna come pick him up and deal with it at 2.30. Well, at 2 o'clock, JT would draw the handgun from his jacket pocket as Abigail was working at a reading table, and he would fire one round at her from less than 10 feet away. She would put her hand up to try to block the shot, and the bullet would pass through her hand, rupture the bones, enter into her chest, fracture her ribs, collapse her lung, and then lodge near her spine in aorta, actually. And JT would attempt to pull the trigger again. However, by the grace of God, the gun jammed. The gun was not able to fire another round. I guess they hadn't been maintenance in it properly. I'm not actually familiar with that platform.
