We are still a couple months out, but the midterms are fast approaching. And make no mistake, if the house flips, it's a big deal for our economy. That uncertainty is one of the reasons to consider diversifying now with gold from Birch Gold Group.
In the three months leading up to the 2024 presidential election, the price of gold jumped over 12%.
Why? It's a hedge against uncertainty. If you do not own gold, consider talking with Birch Gold. They will discuss your goals and explain how precious metals can fit into your savings. They could even help you convert an existing IRA or 401k into an IRA in gold for no additional money out of pocket. Text the letters MK to the number 989898 and get a free info kit and some solid information. The midterms will be here before you know it. Don't wait, text MK to 989898 now.

Michigan's Democrat nominee for US Senate, Abdul El-Sayed, trying to put a string of controversies behind him, apologizing Saturday for his response to a March synagogue attack as he works to bring skeptical Democrats aboard his campaign against Republican Mike Rogers. The Associated Press reporting the apology coming during a meeting with the state's Jewish Democratic Caucus in Lansing. The controversy dating back to March 12th after an armed attacker drove into Temple Israel in West Bloomfield Township outside Detroit.
El-Sayed addressing the attack in a March 13th social media video.

Ayman Ghazali hurt people. There is no justification for what he did. It was wrong and he never should have done it.
Hurt people hurt people.
A week earlier, an airstrike killed his niece and nephew. Imagine if that had never happened. Imagine there was no war in Iran. Imagine if there were no airstrikes in Lebanon. Imagine if his family had never died. Imagine there was never an attack on Temple Israel. That's the world that we want to live in. That's the world we need to build for. Violence always begets violence. Only peace can extinguish that because hurt people hurt people.

Nearly six months later, those remarks following El-Sayed into the general election. El-Sayed facing questions from a reporter Saturday at the state Democrat convention.

**Abdul El-Sayed** (3:37)
At the end of the day, our responsibility is to come together as a party. And I made clear I got a really important question about that at the Jewish caucus. And my comments might have been misconstrued to be justifying something I did not intend to justify. Right? To anybody who feels like my comments might have been hurtful, I'm really sorry that was not my intention. We condemned that terrorist attack. We condemned it outright. What I was trying to do was offer context for why it happened, but it wasn't the time for context. And you don't ever want to trample somebody's pain.

**Tom Bevan** (4:04)
El-Sayed also reportedly softening his message at the state convention after defeating Congresswoman Haley Stevens in the primary. CNN reporting he avoided naming a frequent target of his campaign, the pro-Israel lobbying group AIPAC, in his speech.
