Excited to be with everybody at the Y Reefi Studios remote edition, of course. And Blake does not get to steal my mic flag today, which I'm very excited about. Nevertheless, he'll be back, I believe, on Wednesday. So today and tomorrow, it'll just be me. We have a great show in store for you. We've got Mark Halperin on at 1230 Eastern. We're going to be talking about the primary schedule for the Democrats, what it reveals. We're going to be talking about JD Vance and the proxy war that seems to be emerging around his potential candidacy in 2028 Then we've got Jay Feely, who is running for Congress, and he just won his primary out of CD1 in Arizona. Some headwinds we got to deal with and see what we can do to fix them in ahead of November, so that's a big start. I want to begin the show, however, talking about DSA. There was some revealing clips that came out over the weekend of the people that run the Democrat Socialists of America party platform and what they actually believe. I want to explain where this is coming from. There's a clip that we never played on the show from Secretary Marco Rubio that I think is just so prescient, it is so important that you really internalize what he's saying in this clip because I think it's fundamentally accurate. Now Marco, of course, without weighing in to the horse race on the Republican side ahead of 2028, Marco is one of the most eloquent communicators when it comes to the issue of socialism and Marxism. Part of that obviously comes from his background, his proximity to Cuba, his own Cuban heritage, and understanding that dynamic extraordinarily well. It's not been something that's snuck up on Marco Rubio. He's been thinking deeply about this problem and what he has perceived as the rise of this ideology in the United States for a long time, therefore he is a great tip of the spear when it comes to countering it. So this was a speech that Secretary Rubio gave on July 15th. Again, we didn't play the clip then.
It bears repeating though that this is one of the most eloquent defenses of the capitalist system, of the American way, and against Marxism and socialism. So let's play the clip, SOP 14

This is a distinctive and unique evil. It has always been driven by a hatred, above all else, a hatred for civilization itself.
It is a revolt of the worst against the best, a revolt of the weak and the cowardly, against the strong and the good. It is perpetrated by those who cannot build, who cannot create, who cannot achieve great things, and take their revenge upon the world for their own inadequacy by seeking to destroy those who can.
This is what radical leftism is. It may wear various different slogans and ideologies across place and time, but the fundamental character is always the same. It's always the same. It is a poisonous resentment cloaked in the language of equality and justice, liberation, and overwhelming need to tear down what greater men have built.
