Okay, our friends, so today we are reading a story for you, as we always do.

It is a story that I was given by a friend who said, you're going to love this, it's an interactive story.
And you know I love me a good interactive story. So we're going to read this. Today's story is called Dragon Post. This story was written by Emma Yarlett. And what's interesting about this particular story is it has five urgent letters to open within the book. So my question to you is this, do you like opening letters? Do you get mail wherever you live? Do you get post wherever you are? And if you do have someone who posts you letters or mails you letters, then you will appreciate this book with me.
So think about that. Think about who can you send a letter to to show them that you're thinking about them. Or who can you send a dragon to better yet? What do you say? Today's story, Dragon Post, is read by Mommy and...

Are you ready for your story?

Okay, here we go.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:23)
One day, I found a dragon.
I hoped it would stay. I'd always wanted a dragon, but this little dragon looked like it might set fire to the house. So, I did the obvious thing.

**Lisa Bueno** (1:41)
And in the picture we see a little boy.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:43)
He's gone down the stairs into the basement of his house.

**Lisa Bueno** (1:46)
And there is a giant red dragon.

**SPEAKER_5** (1:52)
I wrote to the fire brigade.

**Lisa Bueno** (1:55)
That's like their fire station, right?

**SPEAKER_5** (1:57)
They would know what to do.

**Lisa Bueno** (1:59)
We can see that he has written a letter, put it in an envelope, and on the letter it says, Help.

**SPEAKER_5** (2:07)
Finally, I got a letter back.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:09)
I dried it off and opened it up, and it says, Alex, 82 Draco Way Beaconwood B86URN, an Urgent. And then when we read the inside of it, it says, Dear Alex, Goodness me, a baby dragon in your house?

**SPEAKER_6** (2:30)
Crikey, it must be lost.
As well as being really scary, dragons are a serious fire hazard, especially young dragons.
If you have to keep it, and I really think you should not, then make sure it is moist at all times.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:49)
You never know when it might erupt into flames.

**SPEAKER_6** (2:53)
Golly, just thinking about how it is bringing me out in a sweat. Hang on.

**Lisa Bueno** (2:59)
I've just had to dunk myself in a bucket of cold water to calm down.

**SPEAKER_6** (3:04)
I suggest you do the same with the dragon.

**SPEAKER_7** (3:07)
Douse it in water right away.

An urgent letter indeed, wouldn't you say?

So I did as I was told. The dragon loved it. I could tell.

**Lisa Bueno** (3:27)
In the picture, we see him with a fire hose and a fire hat, and he is just hosing down the dragon with every possible amount of water he can. He's even gotten his swimming pool from the backyard and drug it inside and filled it with water, and every pot and tea kettle and vase and skillet is filled with water.
Uh-oh.

**SPEAKER_5** (3:52)
Later, we were hungry. I made my best jam sandwiches. The dragon was not a fan, but I knew just who to ask about dragon food.
I got a speedy reply.

Oh, he has sent yet another letter and received a letter in return. It says, nice to meet M-E-A-T, you butchers.

**SPEAKER_6** (4:24)
Beef from Sirloin's Farm.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:27)
Steaks, noble and tasty.

**SPEAKER_7** (4:30)
From Mahogany Farm. Ham, it's squealy nice.

**Philip** (4:34)
Five out of five quality meat.

**Lisa Bueno** (4:36)
Chicken, fresh from Sam and Ella's chicken coop.

**SPEAKER_3** (4:40)
Insanely tasty and fresh chicken.

**SPEAKER_5** (4:44)
My goodness.

**Lisa Bueno** (4:45)
Dear Alex, your dragon sounds delicious.

**SPEAKER_7** (4:50)
I bet it would taste marvellous with potatoes, peas and carrots. I'm not surprised your dragon didn't like the jam sandwiches.

**SPEAKER_5** (5:02)
Dragons eat meat. Lots of meat. Because your dragon is so young, it will still have a lot of growing to do. You should fatten it up with some juicy meat. Please find our latest tasty meat offers on the back of this letter.
I wonder if I could taste-
