Welcome to the Double Dribble Podcast with Dubin and Dikeel. That's Jared Dubin, author of the great newsletter, Last Night in Basketball. You know him, you love him, big Knicks fan, rocking out Knicks championship gear. I feel like we're going to see folks a parade of this, if you're watching this on YouTube, of just gear left and right. I'm Mo Dikeel, former NBA video coordinator, right for Bleacher Report Podcast with Jared. And you find me on other places.
Jared, how are you doing?

**Jared Dubin** (0:34)
I'm doing great, man. I do have the Knicks championship gear on once again. We were talking about this before we started. My dad went absolutely nuts buying championship gear after the Knicks won the title. Didn't even ask, just sent a bunch of stuff to me and my brother.
So now I just have so much of it.

**Mo Dakhil** (0:50)
If you want to see Jared's championship gear that we're going to see pretty much, I feel like on every podcast, you got to check us out on the RealGM YouTube channel. Make sure you're rocking with us there. Make sure you're checking us out on the podcast, rate, review, subscribe, all that fun stuff, everything like that. But we got a lot going on, seasons around the corner. We started our season previews. We started on the East Coast. We started with the Atlantic Division, but guys, we're shifting west. We're going to the Pacific Division. We're going to hit that division now. And if you remember, if you listen to the last episode, or if you remember from last season, Jared has lined up a nice bunch of few questions because again, he does the homework and I just show up. I'm that kid in the group project that does nothing and then gets an A.
Jared, you've been nice enough to do the questions. I know we do this in alphabetical order.
Let's get this thing started.

**Jared Dubin** (1:46)
It's funny because growing up, I was the guy in the group project that just showed up and got the A. I was not the homework guy.
I have somehow become the homework guy in my adult life.

**Mo Dakhil** (1:56)
Well, because you met somebody that has one-upped you on the, I'm not going to do the work too far ahead with that. If you want a funny side story, I was in a group project at USC in a business class.
I remember I went to the group meeting and it just was going on. I was so bored, I fell asleep.
We're at somebody's apartment, I just fell asleep on the floor and then woke up after the meeting. They're like, this is what you need to do. Cool. Basically, all I had to do was speak, which is great, easy. The thing that pissed everybody off was I got the highest grade. Oh, God. We all got A's, but I got the highest point though. I go like, you guys gave me the speaking role. You could have fucked me.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:39)
Naturally. All right.

**Jared Dubin** (2:42)
We are going to go alphabetical order through the division here once again. We're going to run through the significant moves that the teams made this off-season.
One thing we're excited about for them for the season, one thing we're worried or concerned about for the season, and then one prediction, it can be an over-under, it can be how their season is going to end, it can be literally anything about the season. It doesn't have to be over-under, win total or whatever it is. So, we are going to start with the Golden State Warriors. They drafted Yaxle Lindenburg, lost Quinton Post on a restrictive free agent offer sheet, re-signed Draymond Green, Al Horford, Chris Stubbs, Porzingis, D'Anthony Melton, and Gary Payton II, signed George Niang and Brandon Williams recently. Their over-under is 39 and a half wins. Mo, what are you excited about when it comes to the Golden State Warriors this year?

**Mo Dakhil** (3:31)
It's the same every year with them, and it's going to be this way until the guy retires, but it's Steph Curry.

**Jared Dubin** (3:38)
I had literally another year of watching Steph Curry.

**Mo Dakhil** (3:42)
He is just so much fun to watch, especially on the nights when it's like, oh, Steph is going nuclear.

**Jared Dubin** (3:49)
There's nothing better than a Steph supernova night. There's still nothing better than that.

**Mo Dakhil** (3:54)
It's on the nights where I'm not watching it and I see whatever, Twitter blow up or social media go nuts. Then I'm running to that channel going like, oh, Steph is going off. I need to go catch it. And it's just so much fun with that stuff. It's the Steph nuclear stuff. And I think we both have the same one. I wish you'd tell everybody, we don't talk about this ahead of time of what our notes are, right? Like what we think or anything. So we just go.
