Hope all of you are enjoying yourselves. My hope is that most people are carving out a little bit of time for themselves over the summer. You know, like, we can't.

You know, it's an awful lot of fun to be had in the summer.
And this time of year in particular, if you're a baseball fan, you're constantly refreshing the trade deadline updates and a lot of action. And I don't want to derail us too much, but there's a lot of interesting stuff.

What I will say is, it feels like there was a time in politics where it was like, oh, it's the summer lull. You don't need to pay attention to politics. But as we're speaking, the Michigan primary is underway. Like, the political season is almost all year now. Yeah.

And like, look, they're well adjusted amongst us. You like to take your family on a trip. You like to stay on a body of water somewhere.

So my wife got me this because it was like last year was Smokey the Bear's anniversary or something. Like the story of the little bear cub that was in the fire and it ended up raising all this awareness of like families when they'd go picnic that stopped being like, just throw the embers out on the tree, you know, like it used to be pretty, you know, out of control.
