It is day 200 Sound the alarm, you guys. That's awesome. Day 200 You know what that means. There's 165 more days to go, which you're on the downward slope in a massive way. Also, 200 There should be a celebration. You should get an award, some kind of certificate that just indicates your accomplishment in just being faithful to the Lord who's so faithful to you. It probably these first 200 days probably have not been perfect. That's awesome. That's good because that's how it's supposed to be, right?
We are not perfect people. We just are called to be faithful to the Lord. When we fall down, we ask him to pick us back up. When we stop, we ask him to help us start again. And here you have done it. It's for 200 times you have pressed play and have let the Lord speak to you. Today is no different. Today on Day 200, we are reading Isaiah Chapter 18, 19, and 20 We are also reading Nahum, the Prophet Nahum, or Nahum, Chapters 1 and 2 We are also reading Proverbs 10, Verses 25 to 28 As always, the Bible translation that I am reading from is the Revised Standard Version, Second Catholic Edition. The Book of the Prophet Isaiah, Chapter 18 Ah, land of whirring wings, which is beyond the rivers of Ethiopia, which sends ambassadors by the Nile, in vessels of papyrus upon the waters. Go, you swift messengers, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people feared near and far, a nation mighty and conquering, whose land the rivers divide. All you inhabitants of the world, you who dwell on the earth, when a signal is raised on the mountains, look, when a trumpet is blown, hear. For thus the Lord said to me, I will quietly look from my dwelling, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest. For before the harvest, when the blossom is over, and the flower becomes a ripening grape, he will cut off the shoots with pruning hooks, and the spreading branches he will hew away. They shall all of them be left to the birds of prey of the mountains, and to the beasts of the earth. And the birds of prey will summer upon them, and all the beasts of the earth will winter upon them. At that time, gifts will be brought to the Lord of hosts from a people tall and smooth, from a people feared near and far, a nation mighty and conquering, whose land the rivers divide, to Mount Zion, the place of the name of the Lord of hosts.
