Hey, everybody.

Christy Noel (1:18)

Welcome back to another episode of Snark Bait. I'm Christy.

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:21)

I'm Sophie.

Christy Noel (1:23)

And we're back, baby.

Sophie Ross Brooks (1:25)

We are back. Thank you so much, Christy. And thank you to Olivia and Rachel for stepping in so I could deal with some family stuff. But I'm back and I'm very excited to be back. And yeah, I just appreciate you guys so much. And I appreciate all the baby Snarks that like messaged me. And because I've also been taking a break from so bad, it's a temporary break from so bad. It's good just because again, life is beating my ass lately. And I had so many baby Snarks messaged me just to check in and make sure I'm okay. And I'm sorry I haven't like answered anyone because I've been dealing with shit. But I appreciate it so much. Thank you guys.

And yeah, again, thank you Christy for taking care of business. She was a well-oiled machine. Like there are certain things that I do and obviously certain things that Christy does for the podcast. And she was like, hey, so I've automated everything. You're not going to have to do this anymore.

I know.

Christy Noel (2:23)

I'm like, I'm trying to maximize efficiency.

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:25)

You know what I mean?

Christy Noel (2:26)

So we can focus on the things that matter, which is delivering you guys premium, premium gossip and more-

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:33)

Premium content.

Christy Noel (2:34)

Premium content.

Sophie Ross Brooks (2:35)

Yes.

Christy Noel (2:36)

And no, I'm happy. I'm happy to do it.

So we were kind of shifting things around. So on Thursday, me and Rachel, our social manager, we go through Taylor's TTPD lore. You guys, I'm not joking. It's one of the most in-depth episodes I think we ever did because Rachel wrote like a 16-page in-depth analysis of TTPD. And we were planning on-

Sophie Ross Brooks (3:02)

Which will also be going live on Patreon for business runners.

Christy Noel (3:06)

Right. So if you want like a guide as Rachel and I talk, it'll be very helpful.

But I was telling Rachel, I'm like, hey, Sophie's out this week. Do you want to just go through that document? We've already done such like intense research. She was like, sure. What ended up being like what I assumed to be an hour episode, we actually recorded for two hours. And then we had to do an addendum to the recording that we previously recorded because we recorded on Monday. And then all that shit about Taylor Swift came out about Patient Zero, Encore. So then we did an addendum. But you guys will hear all of our thoughts on that episode, but that was pre us actually hearing the music. And then now today on Dark Energy Tuesday, Sophie and I are obviously going to talk about Encore, Patient Zero music video, the VMAs. Because I feel like that's the most topical recording, Monday September 28th in the morning. So I'm very much looking forward to you guys listening to Thursday's episode, if you guys are a Taylor fan. And then on Patreon tomorrow, Rachel and I talk through, like we do like an AMA with Rachel, but it's more about like what goes on behind the scenes at Snark Bait, what it's like to like work for us, what she thinks of Sophie and I offline.

Sophie Ross Brooks (4:12)

Oh, I'm scared, I'm scared.

Christy Noel (4:14)

I know.

SPEAKER_2 (4:15)

What, something surprising?
