Forget Me Not

July 8, 2026

What gift, encouragement, or kindness have you freely received from God that you can freely share with someone today?
**SPEAKER_2** (0:48)
Thank you.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:59)
Thank you. Go, preach, saying, The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons.
Freely you received, so freely give. Don't take any gold, silver, or brass in your money belts. Take no bag for your journey, neither two coats, nor sandals, nor staff, for the laborer is worthy of his food. Into whatever city or village you enter, find out who in it is worthy, and stay there until you go on. As you enter into the household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come on it. But if it isn't worthy, let your peace return to you.
Whoever doesn't receive you, nor hear your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet. Most certainly, I tell you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah and the Day of Judgment than for that city.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:10)
The Gospel of the Lord.
Jesus said to his apostles, As you go, make this proclamation. The kingdom of heaven is at hand. Cure the sick. Raise the dead. Cleanse the lepers. Drive out demons. Without cost you have received. Without cost you are to give.
Jesus sent his apostles out with a simple mission. Share the good news and bring hope to those in need. He reminded them that what they had received from God was a gift, not something they had earned. Because it was given freely, it was meant to be shared freely. Most of us are not called to heal diseases or perform miracles. Yet every day, we receive gifts from God that can bless others. A kind word to someone who is discouraged. A listening ear for a friend who is struggling. Patience when it will be easier to walk away. Forgiveness when resentment feels justified.
The Kingdom of Heaven becomes visible when God's love flows through ordinary people in ordinary moments. It is easy to focus on what we lack. Jesus invites us instead to notice what we have already received. When we recognize God's generosity in our own lives, we become more willing to extend that same generosity to others. What gift, encouragement or kindness have you freely received from God that you can freely share with someone today? Lord, thank You for the many blessings You have placed in my life.
Help me to be generous with the love, mercy and grace You have given me. Teach me to serve others with a willing heart and to reflect Your goodness in the small opportunities of each day.
Amen.

**SPEAKER_4** (5:03)
In the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.

**SPEAKER_1** (5:07)
Amen.

**SPEAKER_4** (5:08)
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell.
The third day, He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of God, the Father Almighty. From there, He shall come to judge the living and the dead.

**SPEAKER_1** (5:39)
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting. Amen.

**SPEAKER_4** (5:50)
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

**SPEAKER_1** (5:58)
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

**SPEAKER_4** (6:12)
