At that time, Jesus answered, I thank you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you hid these things from the wise and understanding, and revealed them to infants.
Yes, Father, for it was well pleasing in your sight. All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father. Neither does anyone know the Father except the Son, and. He to whom the Son desires to reveal. Him.

The Gospel of the Lord. I give praise to you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, for although you have hidden these things from the wise and the learned, you have revealed them to the childlike. Yes, Father, such has been your gracious will. All things have been handed over to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wishes to reveal. Him. In this Gospel, Jesus praises the Father because. His truth is revealed to the childlike. He's not saying that knowledge is bad, or that learning has no value. Rather, He's pointing to a heart that remains open, humble and willing to be taught. Children know how to trust. They ask questions. They depend on others. They do not pretend to have all the answers. In contrast, pride can make us believe we already know enough and no longer need God's guidance.
Many of us spend our lives trying to understand everything. Yet, some of the deepest truths of faith are not discovered through clever arguments. They are received through a relationship with God.
The more we draw near to Christ, the more we come to know the Father. Jesus reminds us that knowing God is a gift before it is an achievement. We cannot force it. We can only open our hearts and allow. Him to lead us. Today, we may ask ourselves whether we approach God with trust or with the need to control everything. A humble heart often sees what a proud heart overlooks. When I pray, do I come before God as someone who already has all the answers, or as a child willing to listen and learn?
Father, thank. You for revealing. Yourself through Your Son.
Give us humble hearts that are open to. Your guidance. Remove pride and teach us to trust. You more each day.
May we seek not only knowledge about. You, but a deeper relationship with. You. Amen.
