This Friday, return to theaters for Avengers Endgame Encore. I know I said no more surprises, but I was really hoping to pull off one last one. Reassemble the team.

Relive the experience. You mess with time, time tends to mess back. The story continues. Tony, this is the second chance. Don't miss Marvel Studios Avengers Endgame Encore or early theaters Friday. Get tickets now. Rating PG-13. Maybe inappropriate for children under 13

Ben Crump knew, Al Sharpton knew, Christine Wansley knew.
Jackson County just put it on the record.
23 grand jurors, 132 subpoenas, 43 witnesses, unanimous no true bill, no crime, no racially motivated murder, no white friends who killed a black boy on Horn Island and walked free while Mississippi covered it up. District Attorney Angel Myers McIlrath sat on camera last night and ended the sale. The race card got played with no cards in the deck. I told you so when the cameras first rolled. I told you so when the pool pits filled. I'm telling you so again, with the state's own words, play the tape.
Angel Myers McIlrath (1:23)
The narrative that three white boys and a black boy went to an island and only three white friends returned spread like wildfire.
This was false. Nolan went to Horn Island on July 4th, 2026 with a large group of friends. While on the island, he connected with even more friends. There is absolutely no evidence to support the allegations that Nolan's disappearance and death were racially motivated. Nolan's friends loved Nolan and Nolan loved them. Nolan chose to stay on the island that day and there is not a scintilla of evidence to contradict that.
Jason Whitlock (2:03)
That is the whole foundation of the Ben Crump, Al Sharpton product crushed in under a minute.
Not three white boys, a large group, friendship, not a hunting party, choice, not abduction, zero evidence of racial motive. The story that lit the internet on fire was on its face. Ben Crump still sold it. Al Sharpton still flew in to bless it. Christine Wansley still let the cameras frame her grief as proof of a lynching that never happened.
Look, grief is real. A mother buried her son. The pain does not purchase a license to accuse living teenagers of murder because the dead boy is black and his friends were white. That is not justice. That is a hustle dressed up as mourning.
Angel Myers McIlrath (3:02)
The family, the Crump team, and anyone close to Nolan knew that his disappearance and death were not the result of racial hate or violence. Yet the flames of that narrative set against the backdrop of Mississippi's terrible history were fanned by both people who knew the truth and those who didn't.
I also want you to understand that I'm not suggesting that a grieving mother policed the rumors surrounding her child's death. What I am suggesting is that the Crump team knew better, but did not do better.
Jason Whitlock (3:38)
Listen to that again. They knew better, but didn't do better. The family, the Crump team knew, anyone close to Nolan knew. Not racial hate, not violence, and still the machine kept running. McIlrath drew the only honest line left. She will not prosecute a mother's sorrow. She will name the lawyers who knew better and refused to do better.
Ben Crump's name is on that charge. His team set on the truth and fed the country a race murder anyway.
July 15th, 2026, receipts. Watch.

July 15th, 2026, Nolan's family and the Crump team were shown evidence of Nolan purchasing his own alcohol. But that fact, they chose not to share with the public. From our first meeting, I extended an open offer to provide the grand jury with any evidence whatsoever that the family wanted them to have, including the findings and testimony of their independent medical examiner. This is not a practice unique to the Nolan Wells case, but this is how I have always conducted business as your prosecutor.
On August 13th, 2026, after the Crump team conducted and released the results of its independent autopsy, and after receiving hundreds of tips, they advised my office that they had no evidence of a crime being committed against Nolan Wells.
Jason Whitlock (5:03)
They saw the alcohol buy. They buried it. They ran their own autopsy. They took hundreds of tips. Then they walked into the district attorney's office and admitted they had no evidence of a crime against Nolan Wells. August 13th, weeks before the grand jury, and after that private surrender, the public campaign kept screaming murder, racism, cover up.
They're still doing it today. That is not confusion. That is a decision. Ben Crump's operation told prosecutors the case was empty. Then told America the case was a Southern lynching, on a boat. Emmett Till, on a boat. Mississippi Bernie, on a boat. Al Sharpton did not need evidence. He needed a stage. He showed up to turn a dead teenager into a national racial emergency while the people closest to the foul already knew the emergency was fiction. Sharpton's job has never been the autopsy. His job is the microphone. When the DA later invited the family's own medical examiner, Dr. Roger Mitchell, gave him the full investigative file, access to Horn Island, and a seat in front of the grand jury, the mythology still refused to die.
