Today's gaming news stories include, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a movie, Charlie Cox is in a new Sega game, and a report about Double Fine's union falling apart. We'll have all this and more because this is Kinda Funny Games Daily.

This is a long tale in that intro. This is a long tale. I forgot we had the Halloween intro.

Mike Howell (1:44)

We're back.

Andy Cortez (1:45)

That's nice. Hey Mike, good morning.

Mike Howell (1:46)

We've been running that since September 1st like Greg says.

Andy Cortez (1:49)

Good morning, Mike.

Mike Howell (1:51)

Do you have your Halloween outfit picked out? Are you ready?

Andy Cortez (1:53)

I don't think I'm gonna. I don't think I'm gonna be able to.

Mike Howell (1:56)

No, you've gone for the past three years dressed up extra nice. John Wick, Verso.

Andy Cortez (2:02)

We have, I mean, I have a costume.

Mike Howell (2:04)

Okay.

Andy Cortez (2:05)

Right. But it's not necessarily for Halloween. But the Halloween one that I want, I just don't think I can get it in time.

Mike Howell (2:13)

You want that Dylan Poncho?

Andy Cortez (2:15)

Yeah.

Mike Howell (2:16)

Why don't you splurge a little bit? Swipe that card.

Andy Cortez (2:18)

I just, nobody, I don't really know.

Here's the problem is like people on Etsy, they're like, I make stuff for you. But it's all AI photos. I'm just like, can I get a, do you have a photo of the thing? Can I see how it looks first before I'm buying this thing? It's just, you're just doing an AI thing, you know?

Mike Howell (2:35)

Look at this one I found on Reddit.

Andy Cortez (2:37)

Wow.

Mike Howell (2:38)

I made Dylan Faden's Poncho. Nice work.

Andy Cortez (2:41)

Reply to him, tell him I'll buy it.

Mike Howell (2:43)

My best friend Andy will buy this.

Andy Cortez (2:44)

Yeah. But like, of course, Remedy teamed up with that one brand and they made an official one. Guess how much it is, Mike?

Mike Howell (2:54)

$750.

Andy Cortez (2:55)

That's the one.

Mike Howell (2:56)

There it is right here.

Andy Cortez (2:57)

This is the one. Yep.

Mike Howell (2:58)

How much is it?

Andy Cortez (2:59)

$700 and something.

Mike Howell (3:01)

One size, add the cart.

Andy Cortez (3:03)

Cause you're gonna see it in pounds first, right?

Mike Howell (3:05)

Oh, yeah, it's 599 pounds. So conversion rate.

Andy Cortez (3:08)

So it's 700 something.

Mike Howell (3:09)

The pound is stronger than the dollar. Oh shit, so that means it's more.

Andy Cortez (3:13)

It's more, Mike, yeah. It's a lot more expensive than I thought.

Mike Howell (3:17)

It looks cool, though.

Andy Cortez (3:18)

It does look really, really sick. What are you gonna be for Halloween?

Mike Howell (3:22)

Tingle.

Andy Cortez (3:24)

Okay, you're gonna. Okay.

Mike Howell (3:25)

Yeah, I mean, it's just easy. I got it. You know what I mean?

Andy Cortez (3:28)

It's in the chamber.

Mike Howell (3:28)

I'm deep in the Zelda duffy. And so like anything Zelda really related is what I would go for. There was another character I met in the Zelda world that I would be. You ready for this?
