Jim Cramer here to share with you a sample of my take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. I'll tell you what does matter. The people who sold Texas Roadhouse really hard on something we all expected, which was higher beef prices, those are you take advantage of. We sold some stock last week, a couple weeks ago, when it was high.

Jeff Marks (1:24)

Five months ago, 189

Jim Cramer (1:25)

The reason why we do that is so if something happens and we expected something to happen, people weren't included, we can buy it back. This is something in how to make money in any market. I talk about this notion, my book coming. I talk about this notion when you don't want to lose a stock, but you know that negativity could happen, a la Honeywell, when Honeywell spiked. You want to be able to leave room to buy back stock that you sold and that's what we did with Texas Roadhouse. If it were down more today, I would say buy more.

Jeff Marks (1:55)

Why?

Jim Cramer (1:55)

Because what I care about is the growth. And the growth here is incredibly strong.

Jeff Marks (2:01)

Yeah, the comps were strong. That momentum continued through the first five weeks of the third quarter. It's traffic driven, most importantly, right? They're not just raising prices on their customers for growth. It's all people coming into the restaurants. They talked about accelerating new unit expansion next year. I always like to see that.

Jim Cramer (2:20)

And they're doing Bubba's, which does matter.

Jeff Marks (2:22)

I'm trying to figure out when they're going to start putting in Bubba's. One of the three brands.

Jim Cramer (2:24)

More seafood, not steak. So I just think if you ask me, and I remember we have our meeting on Thursday, what I'm looking at, I am looking at the ones that are so-called faded angels that I think are great places to do some buying. Of course, you'll hear that.

Jeff Marks (2:39)

Yeah. So we bought a little bit of that on Friday. Finally weren't restricted in Palo Alto and Starbucks this morning, so we nibbled on some shares as well.
