Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. What I'm looking for is, and I don't want to pay off for Procter and Gamble, but I remember I like Kimberly. It's that kind of thing. It's just because I want dividends here because if the Fed is going to cut, you want these companies that yield four, like five Kimberly. That's what you want.
Jeff Marks (1:11)
Yeah, and maybe interesting. It's a lot of selling winners right now. You mentioned the Microns of the world, big gains year to day versus a Kimberly, versus a Procter and Gamble. When we bought Procter earlier this week, it was down 15 percent for the year.
Jim Cramer (1:25)
Well, that means nobody's got profits. Yeah. People are trying. I mean, Carl was right to me. He said this morning, Jim, aren't people just trying to lock in profits? Well, not if they own Procter. Yeah, I think it was down 12 Now, what happened during this period? I talked about Procter in How to Make Money in a Market because they don't hide anything. What happened in this period was commodities, some stuff bad in China and commodities. I've been saying there's now a detente between us and China.
That was the president spreading that around, just key people up and...
Jeff Marks (1:59)
They're buying soybeans? Yes, they are. That has started to pick up.
Jim Cramer (2:02)
You know, I know that Boeing seems ill-fated, but Boeing is the one that only gets the orders. I'm not backing away from Boeing. I'm trying to get the right level. Don't want to continue to throw money at something that doesn't have a bottom yet. It will bottom and it'll tell us, just like Nvidia will tell us.
One of the things that I learned a long time ago, Jeff, is their stock, they tell you. Nvidia tells you, because it opens up, and then continues to go down. So you flush out all the people who needed to get out. That's what happens at 9.3 to 10 Then you get the real people who also are in trouble, and they can't buy it, they don't have any capital. And then people start selling it and saying, oh my god, it's really breaking down. Who only peripherally don't really know it. And then it can bounce back.
Jeff Marks (2:45)
So these sound like a lot of technical reasons impacting a video. It's not fundamentals.
Jim Cramer (2:50)
Exactly.
Jeff Marks (2:50)
What we learn, we're strong.
