Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.
Jeff Marks (0:39)
Let's look at the markets. We are seeing a little bit of softness this morning, some weakness across some tech names. Oracle, which we'll get into in a minute. Treasury yields a little change. CPI is tomorrow, so a big event there.
Oil, slightly higher today. You have some OPEC inventories. Showing some Titan inventories there. Jim, any thoughts on the market today?
Jim Cramer (1:01)
What you're seeing across the board? Yeah, I just think Oracle, we have to talk right up front. Oracle is just one of the greatest overreactions I have ever seen.
I mean, it's entirely possible that they've really wiped out the whole value of the Cerner acquisition, which is really what people are focused on. I don't know why there's so many headlines about a slowing of the cloud. When I could tell you, if we were sitting down here with Sapphire Cats, you'd laugh about that and how strong it is. This is all about a recognition that they bought this healthcare company and they've not been able to make it work.
It's Cerner goes up against Epic. Epic is a private company, genius operation.
It hasn't worked out so far. They are doing a change in their accounting, making it so it's more, it's rattleable, which means you can't see how much they're really doing. But all I can tell you, Jeff, is that anyone who thinks that this is because of the slowdown in the cloud is really a fool. And for StockB down 17 right now, with Sapphire Cats and Larry Ellison, I'm just going to say overreaction. I know the stock's going to be down at the end of the day. That's the way these things play out. But we've been there. This is a buy.
Jeff Marks (2:02)
Yeah, expectations certainly elevated into earnings as well. You had the stock trading around, not far from an all-time high close heading into earnings. But yeah, I'm with you, Jim, with the stock down 13.5% today. Really, if you parse through management's commentary, I thought it was incredibly bullish. You're talking about demand far out exceeding supply. Really, the only limiting factor is they can't build enough data centers just to keep up.
Jim Cramer (2:30)
So, yeah. It does feel like someone wants to sell it down 20 It's like you get an order. I used to see this in trading just, which is, look, I have 20 million shares of Oracle, sell it down 20 because you're so angry, you know? You're just really upset, it's very emotional.
You got to sell it down 20 I don't want it on my books. I want it sold, and I want it sold by the time I go to lunch. That's the kind of order that you're dealing with right now. It's a down 20 order.
I would say that you buy some here and buy some down 20 because that's what this seller is doing to this stock.
