On WhatsApp, your personal messages stay private between you and whoever you send them to. So things like the passport numbers for your honeymoon stay between you and your fiancé. And that video call for your grand's 80th stays in the family. Even your streaming password stays between you and your college roommates, who still ask for it every week in your group chat. Because on WhatsApp, your personal messages are yours. No one else can see or hear them, not even us. WhatsApp, message privately.

We also had Nvidia Report earnings, and that also created a wave in enthusiasm. But really, it's now just contained to Nvidia, maybe a sign that it's really just an Nvidia story here. But the results? Pretty strong here. You know, demand picking up since GTC in March, I thought that was the most important part of the call. Talking about how reasoning AI is creating higher compute needs, a step function increase in inference, the rescinding of the AI diffusion rules basically just allowed all these countries to wake up and realize they needed to invest in AI just like they did for electricity, the Internet, enterprise AI agents, these are game changing per Jensen, and then industrial AI, just all this manufacturing, the reshoring, the on-shoring happening throughout the United States has created a lot of demand for the omniverse.

Aren't you a little surprised that Broadcom is actually down now after being up 10 points?
SPEAKER_4 (2:04)
I am a little bit surprised, but I think we also have to keep in mind that Broadcom's AI business is really customer-centric to like Google, Meta, a few others, while NVIDIA is sovereign, AI is a really large piece of it. So I think it's what was NVIDIA's quarter and just the demand signals that they're talking about, I think is a good sign for AI spend in general. And Broad comes up this week, so it's not like it hasn't had a good move.

That's why we sold some. Now, I will point out, I spent a lot of time talking to Jensen and some of it was offline. But the whole theme that he feels is that you can't let the $50 billion in revenue that he's going to get from China go away because a lot of people feel that China's going to weaponize the chips. Well, China's not going to use, he was saying, they would be reluctant to use an American chip in their military in the same way that we would not use Huawei. That convinced me because I, too, have been worried about the weaponizing.
I will say that he was more than adamant that this has to happen, which then made me actually feel, jeez, I don't know, the president helped him get these sovereign deals and now he's asking for one more thing. That's not been the president's style to grant that. He is going to France, he's going to UK next week. I expect more deals, but understand that I think he may be pushing the envelope.
