Jim Cramer (0:43)

Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.

Jeff Marks (0:49)

Let's focus on NVIDIA first, because obviously, that was such a big story last night. Jensen Wong, his CES keynote, declaring that the chat GBT moment for general robotics just around the quarter, agentic AI, self-driving cars, humanoid robots, all really just kind of the next frontier, these new trillion dollar market opportunities, Jensen explained.

Jim Cramer (1:13)

Well, I've gone through both the blogs, and the blogs are all available, and watched, of course, the presentation. It was excellent. And the major theme here is that those who believe that these guys are going to be in a dogfight with Amazon, they're leaving that behind. They'll still make those chips. But they have, for instance, a huge data center in Tennessee with Musk for Tesla. Well, he basically said that Toyota's going to do the same thing. Toyota, they have a big firepower. They can become the next biggest customer, and the Chinese are going to be customers. And I just find that when you listen to it, what he's saying is we may all have robots, and it may happen much sooner than we expect. Because the robots are going to be humanoids. And therefore, things like the Salesforce, things where you have a agentic Asian that is basically going to be on boarded to your company with service now, satellite. Well, that's the new world. And the new world was doing well, and then the rates went bad, and we don't care about the new world. Today, we don't care about it.

Jeff Marks (2:19)

And Toyota, that was a nice win. They're using NVIDIA's self-driving platform. Jensen also talked about Blackwell in full production. Every cloud service provider has systems up and running. A new personal AI supercomputer, which is a desktop with a Blackwell AI chip inside. $3,000, so pricey. But a lot of, of course, this was the consumer electronics show, so a lot of consumer-facing products here.

Jim Cramer (2:44)

Would I buy NVIDIA down four? Look, I know you, remember, you got the jobs report on Friday. We could see a similar move to 4.75. That would cause people to sell NVIDIA. So you, what you have to do is say, listen, maybe I buy some, but I leave room just in case the employment number is weak. Weak, meaning causes weakness in the stock market. And a strong employment number is going to drive interest rates up and cause you to lose again.

Jeff Marks (3:09)

So a little bit of a good news is bad news might be where we're at right now. Exactly.

Jim Cramer (3:12)

I mean, look, what I'm surprised about is, is that we've had a number of numbers that were much weaker than these. So then you want to figure out, are they outliers? And then you want to figure out, well, hold it just a sec, like healthcare, banks do better if we don't have a lot of quick cuts. So banks are doing well, healthcare is doing well, but technology is not where you want to be on a day, on the first day when rates go up.
