Jim Cramer (1:04)
Jim Cramer here to share with you a sample of my take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. It seems like a very mixed day because there's a rotation going on. People are going out of the hot stocks into cold stocks. And I've got to tell you that a lot of this may be literally oversold. And you don't go and buy the stocks as soon as you're oversold. You don't want to go buy the stocks that I would describe as meme stocks. What you do is you want to buy the real stocks.
Jeff Marks (1:39)
Yeah, I think that maybe there's just some fatigue in that, right? Some of these stocks are just going up endlessly day after day. They're just prone for some profit taking, set up for some profit taking. I mean, seeing it in, you know, the crowd strike today, no real news, had some positive news yesterday with the Microsoft hack. But, you know, the AI infrastructure stocks, maybe it's off the Stargate report by the Wall Street Journal.
Jim Cramer (2:04)
Yes.
Jeff Marks (2:04)
That it's a little bit slow to get out of the, you know, get off the ground running, you know, even though that OpenAI actually had some announcements today.
Jim Cramer (2:13)
But it's not a bad day. It's just that you get it. This is a Palantir no-go day. And, you know, those stocks need to rest. And I've been trying to explain Park, Palantir and Applovin and Robinhood and Coinbase. And these are stocks where they're just up every day. If they quit, then people say, wow, why am I in this? So be careful. Please be careful.
Jeff Marks (2:39)
Well, the worst performing sector year to date has been health care. And health care is actually the best performing sector today. Dan and her did report this morning. It actually was better than expected. He had beats on sales, adjusted earnings per share.
Jim Cramer (2:52)
It was up six, but it was also down six.
Jeff Marks (2:55)
It was down 5% shortly after the number came out, even though again, it was a beat and they raised the earnings outlook, maintain core growth outlook. Trade, did have Scott Besson this morning say, they're about to announce a bunch of trade deals in the coming days. They also said the August 12th China trade, the tariff deadline likely to be expended. They're expected to talk in Stockholm next week.
Jim Cramer (3:17)
We will be, we'll greet any deal with an up move and it will be with the regular stocks that will be up. Not this clown show today where we have a lot of stocks up that shouldn't be. And some stocks are really graduated. I mean, you know, toll, port and Pulte. If you own some, please take some profits.
