I'm Jim Cramer, and you're about to hear a sample taken directly from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.
Jeff Marks (1:08)
Well, the action today, much more broad than what we saw yesterday. Of course, yesterday was all about Oracle and the AI chip names, NVIDIA, Broadcom, they were all screaming. AI infrastructure stocks, too, the industrials, Vernova. But today, a lot, and as well, a much more broader rally, at least for the start of the session today.
Jim Cramer (1:27)
And the financials are leading us, but you know, that's great, those are mostly 15 times earnings. I didn't see COF yet. Everyone's so excited about Klarna, and they're excited, you know, they like the firm. Please do not forget that COF is a gigantic credit card issuer that also has a system.
Jeff Marks (1:43)
Yeah. Mainly when we talk rate cuts, we always talk about the housing sector, too, and how badly it needs mortgage rates to fall sustainably below, you know, call it 6.5%, get down to 6, to really see a pickup in activity. And, you know, with the data today, we're seeing that reflected in shares of Home Depot.
Jim Cramer (2:02)
Yes. Remember, this is the other day, I said that you need to buy Home Depot for those who don't. Now, again, I'm not a charters, but this is my favorite chart in the entire book. It's reverse head and shoulder. Thank you, Matt Horwey, my writing partner, for recognizing this. And I do believe that this stock is going to go $500.
Jeff Marks (2:20)
Yeah, we did, we mentioned the AI yesterday, not seeing a big kind of carry forward into it today, or I saw Oracle's down, Broadcom down, Broadcom's had such a big run that it's almost attempting to right size.
Jim Cramer (2:33)
Parabolic move.
Jeff Marks (2:34)
I do want to mention this in Vidya. This was an upgrade to buy at DA. Davidson. Price target increases to $210. Really, what they're just focused on is the growth in AI compute demand. They say the most important thing is the overwhelming growth in demand for compute. It's the only thing that matters, according to them.
Jim Cramer (2:53)
And that means computers different, remember, from training and inference. Computers is the high speed. Yeah, it's everything. That's one of the reasons why you need these data centers. This stock was up $2 this morning, and it's come down. I'm not a trader or an Nvidia, you know that, but recognize that there are people who feel that this stock is vulnerable. I am not one of them.
