Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.
David Faber (0:54)
Why don't we move to Eli Lilly next, because we know insiders, they do tend to sell shares from time to time, and they can sell for many different reasons, maybe diversification, tax purposes, maybe they're buying a new house. But when they buy shares, that's only with one goal in mind, and that's of course to make money. So we saw a bunch of insider buys, and Eli Lilly, of course, this came after some disappointing kill data last week.
Jim Cramer (1:19)
These are mind-changing insider buys.
David Faber (1:22)
David Ricks bought a million worth of shares, the chief scientific officer bought a little more than half a million worth of shares, board member, the CEO of IFF bought a million worth of shares. Think about that.
Jim Cramer (1:33)
He could buy his own stock. What did he buy? He bought this stock. That is very important. So I told Jeff last night, I said, I cannot be as negative on this after these insider buys. I think that it's in the front, that it's down 15%. So anyway, I can't count on selling the stock in this strength. I just can't.
David Faber (1:53)
So we, yeah, I mean, look, we managed to sell 25 shares at called 775 before the quarter. Are you looking to maybe perhaps buy those shares back now?
Jim Cramer (2:05)
Yes, I am.
David Faber (2:06)
Okay.
Jim Cramer (2:06)
Yes, I am.
David Faber (2:06)
Keep an eye out there and change the rating accordingly, because we have it as a three, but move it up to a one.
Jim Cramer (2:14)
Yeah, I think we have to. It's a good signal that there's insider buys. There's a lot of movement today in our portfolio. NVIDIA is down. Now, I'm not panicking, because it's been the greatest stock ever, but Sandler did raise the price target ahead of the earnings, which are coming out soon, 180 to 225 I want people to realize that this is a very typical pattern with this stock. It is not a parabolic mover. Well, that's one of the reasons why I like it so much. It makes a move, stair step, then stays, goes down a little bit.
People attribute it to being like today, it's CoreWeave, CoreWeave stocks down. They're a big buyer of NVIDIA, so maybe NVIDIA is not doing well. All untrue, of course. NVIDIA is doing incredibly well. I can't tell people to just go buy it.
David Faber (2:57)
You think this is on reports coming out from China that they're urging companies not to buy the H20s?
Jim Cramer (3:03)
I actually did some work on that. They're buying it like mad. And I have someone who's very close to the situation.
David Faber (3:10)
There you go.
