Jim Cramer (1:01)
Hey, it's Cramer. And this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.
Jeff Marks (1:07)
We're focusing on companies. We had one report today earlier this morning. It was a good quarter and it was the first good quarter in a while.
Jim Cramer (1:14)
I think I probably saved his job as CEO. I think he's just done such a bad job.
Jeff Marks (1:20)
Well, look, it was a revenue beat, a very nice earnings beat, 24 cents on EPS beat, margins better than expected, key line biotechnology core revenue growth up 7%. I was looking for 6%. Bioprocessing up high, single digits for the second straight quarter, orders increased sequentially. That's a seven straight quarter of that. They actually raised their full year outlook for bioprocessing core revenue growth. It's a high single digits for its prior expectations of 6% to 7%.
They initiated full year guidance, so that was interesting, right? You would think a lot of companies want to pull it, given the uncertainty. They're kind of giving you a framework of what they see for the year.
Jim Cramer (1:57)
It could be another day's with a rally on this one.
Jeff Marks (1:59)
Yeah, well, it has been. Sure. And they believe they can largely offset current tariffs through a combination of manufacturing footprint changes, supply chain adjustments, surcharges and other cost actions. They do a lot of local manufacturing. So if they're selling in China, they're manufacturing in China. So that might be one reason why the tariff impact not as bad as feared. But yeah, it was a good quarter here. Life science is a little bit weaker for the full year outlook versus the outlook.
Jim Cramer (2:28)
That's built into a 180 price.
Jeff Marks (2:30)
Sure.
Jim Cramer (2:31)
And sure.
Jeff Marks (2:31)
And I think that's kind of what we've been saying, you know, after that disastrous last quarter is that, yes, it was bad, but probably the most conservative outlook you'll see for the group. So they were able to handily beat numbers this morning.
Jim Cramer (2:45)
It's still got a way to go. Sure.
Jeff Marks (2:47)
I mean, yeah, it's been a bad stock, you know. Got to own that. But, you know, some signs that, you know, the momentum is continuing in their core.
Jim Cramer (2:56)
Yeah, a proof of life there. I think that's good.

You know that feeling when someone shows up for you just when you need it most? Yeah, I mean, we all need that. That's what Uber is all about, not just a ride. Or dinner at your door. It's how Uber helps you show up for the moments that matter. Because showing up can turn a tough day around or make a good one even better. Whatever it is, big or small, Uber is on the way so you can be on yours. Uber, on our way.
