Jim Cramer (1:04)

Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club Morning Meeting.

Jim Cramer (1:09)

Let's go into Apple. Now, I think that the essence of what I'm talking about here was that they are going to be able to put together a complete supply chain with semis and obviously with glass, which is going to take the pressure off them with China. And the president also, by the way, what I didn't get to explain that much is Tim Cook does speak to the president quite often. This is because the president is certain that they can make an iPhone in this country. And what he's saying is, listen, one at a time, the semis was monumental trying to get this to happen. The glass, yes, they want to bring the camera back, they want to bring everything back. But in the interim, it's become a love stock in Washington, at the White House. And what you're seeing, yes, yes. And you're seeing the 17 Air, I think is a dramatic break. Not unlike, I don't know if you remember, the Mac Air went from the Mac, which was something that really brought in a lot of sales. So let's not forget that this thing is a juggernaut now, and you're going to hear ultimately many more pauses about the 17

SPEAKER_5 (2:17)

Yeah, we are seeing some analysts write that the product lead times are better versus last year. The iPhone 7, this is Morgan Stanley says that, and they said supply is better, early supply better too. So that's just a strong signal of demand. JP Morgan said their midweek check shows lead time expansion for all models. So you know, it's early, but it seems like people are upgrading to the new phone.
