Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. A ton of news today. Now, I know we've got the Fed meeting, but I think this idea that maybe there's some good movement in trading talks with China may be good, even including what makes me less worried about NVIDIA and this news they have about the antitrust investigation.

SPEAKER_4 (1:13)

Yeah, we'll have to see on that. The antitrust investigation ruled a monopoly. It dates back to the Mellanox deal, which went through in 2020, was approved with conditions. Perhaps China is saying some of those conditions were violated. We'll have to see. NVIDIA was looking a little bit uglier earlier.

Jim Cramer (1:33)

It was down five and a half bucks when Frank Hollom was one. It was very big. I do think that there's, before people realized it was Mellanox, I think people just felt it was just a ginned up antitrust. They had left that Mellanox investigation open. Now, let's be really, this is politically motivated. That is not what you do. Investing said, look, the timing of this was awful. I am hoping that this company is part of a comprehensive deal.

SPEAKER_4 (2:01)

Yeah, it is interesting because NVIDIA regaining access to the China market with licenses was viewed as a bargaining chip, as a deal with China. So it's kind of in the crosshairs here, but we're kind of shrugging off this news. Now, you are back from Kentucky. Huge interview with Corning CEO and, of course, Tim Cook.

Jim Cramer (2:26)

Well, I tried to put in my weekend piece how I felt that this is a seminal meeting. Corning should be out more. That's ridiculous. Well, if you read the piece, then you know that this thing is not done. Apple 17 is going to be gigantic. And one of the salient issues is that there's just, when you trade in, it turns out that the 15, 14, 13, that they save, their value, relative to what you paid for, is very high. So when you take the incentives of the Verizon or T-Mobile, and you add it with the trade in value, this thing turns out to be more of a bargain than any of the phones. I think that's very significant.

SPEAKER_4 (3:02)

Yeah, that was one of your takeaways from the Sunday piece, iPhones in Demand. And we are seeing it, more confirmation of that this morning with the analysts when they do their lead time analysis.

Jim Cramer (3:13)

Are you surprised that this was up three and now it's only up a dollar and a half?

SPEAKER_4 (3:18)

Well, I mean, it's still early. But JP Morgan says lead times for the new models are mostly higher relative to last year. Jeffrey says the 17 base models appears to be a big hit in China, which was surprising to them. So we'll see.
