Jim Cramer (1:01)

Hey, it's Cramer, and this is my morning take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club Morning Meeting. We have kind of an interesting market today. We've got rates are unchanged kind of after this PC number that the Fed thinks is really important. In line.

Oscillators still too high, and I don't want to put money into the market. I'm uncomfortable doing that. But we're seeing like a second day thing that's happening. Meta is really good.

Jeff Marks (1:27)

Very strong.

Jim Cramer (1:28)

And it's almost like, well, Apple, which is better, is giving a glow to a lot of tech. And I think there's a lot of people who are short tech and short Apple, and that didn't work, and they're covering, and that explains this.

Jeff Marks (1:41)

Yeah, and we've essentially erased the losses from Monday after that. Miserable, open, closed a little bit higher than, we moved off the lows on Monday, but it's obviously been a wild week, still digesting everything with DeepSeek, trying to figure out exactly what it means for AI spending and everything around that.

Jim Cramer (2:06)

Well, can we go there for one sec? Well, no, let's go to Apple. I think Apple's seminal, because I speak to Tim Cook.

Jeff Marks (2:13)

Pretty big company.

Jim Cramer (2:13)

People should know, I speak to Tim Cook along with Steve Kovacs. I have a private interview with him from 3.3 to about quarter of 4 And I know that doesn't sound like a lot of time, but you really get a lot done when you talk to Tim. And what I felt was a level of confidence that made it so that you understood why the stock opened up much higher. I can understand why the stock's going down, because it wasn't like they blew the number out. It just wasn't as bad as fear.

Jeff Marks (2:40)

Not as bad as fear.

Jim Cramer (2:41)

And that's what it is. So you can say, well, I don't want to buy a stock that's not as bad as fear, but they're obviously, if you're short the stock, you didn't get the home when you expected.

Jeff Marks (2:49)

Yeah, but look, it was a top of the line, bottom beat despite iPhone sales down 1%.

China was bad, as we figured, right? This is China bad. That's iPhone bad. Exactly right. But I think the key thing here is that Cook did say that markets where Apple Intelligence is available, they are seeing outperformance of the iPhone 16 They're gonna roll it out with more languages in April, more features too in Siri. That was the key thing.

Jim Cramer (3:13)

Because we hope that they get by new, say, as a partner in China.

Jeff Marks (3:18)

It's not approved in China yet.

Jim Cramer (3:19)

Right.

Jeff Marks (3:20)

So right, so the thinking is once it is approved there, you'll start to see better performance in China.

Jim Cramer (3:25)

Otherwise, Xiaomi and Huawei are taking a lot of share.

Jeff Marks (3:28)

Guidance for March, not as bad as fear. They guide it for low to mid single digit revenue growth. That incorporates FX headwinds of 2.5 percentage points. Service is still growing and that's obviously the huge part of the story too. But I think the market's a little bit less worried about the June quarter now, right? Because people have been fearing a cut high.
