Jim Cramer here to share with you a sample of my take on the market from today's CNBC Investing Club morning meeting.
Bezos is selling a huge amount of stock. Now, I don't know how to combat that.
I don't think anyone is going to want to be on the other side of Jeff Bezos' selling. I would point out that the stock trades very, you know, trades like water as you say, the desk. And I would not be that concerned about the levels, a level being found where the stock meets buyers. But when you have this kind of gigantic wave of selling from the largest shareholder who owns a lot of stock, people are going to be very skittish about buying it. So we'll find a level where we can buy Amazon, where I can tell you to buy Amazon, we have a big position, but it's not here yet because this is just people getting aware right now that Bezos is a seller, that's way too soon for us. Now a stock that is working very well, switch directions for a second, is Danaher. And you say, well, why is Danaher doing well? Well, a lot of this is because Agilent, which is in an analog, not a perfect analog, but does instrumentation, Agilent had a very good quarter and there was about eight people who took it up and two took it down, but for the most part, Agilent is a read through to the kind of instruments that are sold by Thermo Fisher and by Danaher. And Agilent having a decent quarter is basically saying, look, there's hope here and I think there's hope and I think it's gonna matter and I do think that Danaher is finally done going down with this acquisition. I think numbers can go higher and when numbers go higher, this is a stock that reacts very closely to whether numbers go up. So anyway, without Jeff, I'm gonna truncate it and I'll be back of course for the home stretch, but there's a lot that I see good, but I am trying to drill down to see when Amazon is right and I don't think it's right yet to tell you if you don't own any shares that you should buy some of these.
