The Iran war was never really about Iran. Bessent has all but said the plan is to strangle China's oil supply, and if China gets boxed in, the retaliation could hit exactly where it hurts: the chips and components that run the US economy, most of which trace back to TSMC in Taiwan.

This is not a drill, the global reset is starting to happen. A recent podcast gave one of the most chilling predictions I've ever heard.
Luke Grohman (0:07)
BlackRock exec, one of the top execs, was told by Treasury, they had the program in place 20 years ago nearly. If we need to, we can pick up the phone and we can stop you from selling everything.

This scenario isn't as far-fetched as people think, and I think the conditions for it are starting to take shape. America's war with Iran is now beginning to have impacts on China. In this episode, I give my predictions on what this means and what steps you should be taking to protect your portfolio. This could lead to one of the worst economic collapses we've ever seen, and we've seen it before.
Luke Grohman (0:42)
This has happened over and over and over and over and over, everywhere in the world basically except America.
Don Tococo (0:50)
This economic war with China may explain why Trump just threatened to crash the global economy if the Fed doesn't cut rates. And even without these doomsday scenarios, new research comes out showing that Bitcoin could be 840K by 2030 The US debt situation is finally forcing our hand. Today we lay out the likely scenario for an economic war with China and why it could happen. And then another doomsday scenario, socialism or both. Got Bitcoin?
Maybe you should. This is Don Tococo Bitcoin Simply. Let's go.
Let me put you on game right now. What's going on with the Strait of Hormuz is not having a major impact on the United States because we are the global leader in terms of oil and gas production. So while we've been able to stomach the pain with the Strait of Hormuz being cut off, that's not true for other people around the world. People like China who have to import massive amounts of oil from the Strait of Hormuz. And Scott Bessent just made this known. Our war with Iran really isn't about Iran. It's so that we can strangle China.
Scott Bessent (1:54)
The things we've done and what the president's done is fantastic sequencing. So we are running operation economic outcast right now. And this is the greatest economic isolation operation in the history of the world. We are going to asphyxiate this regime. Now we have the blockade.
And because of the blockade, the oil is not getting out. So there's probably only about 30 million barrels of Iranian crude oil left that China hasn't bought. So that will run out soon.
And there will be no problem with China buying because they have no product. So the blockade is working. It's working like nothing we've ever seen. And the combination, everyone says, oh, sanctions don't work. I can tell you, blockade and sanctions are one of the most powerful one, two punches in the history of economic isolation.

Did you ever imagine as Treasury Secretary?
Don Tococo (2:56)
What's crazy about this clip from Scott Bessent is that he's actually starting to use Trump's language. He says, this is the greatest economic sanction that we've ever seen. But let me play out the scenarios. What happens logically if we back China into a corner? If there is only 30 million barrels of oil left and that they're eventually going to run out, how do you think they're going to respond? Our largest adversary who also happens to make and manufacture all of the necessary parts and components and raw materials for all of the most major and important industries that we have in the United States. Well, they're going to snap back and we're shutting down the Strait of Hormuz, but they're going to shut down the only industry where we have true growth prospects. Let me play this clip from Donald Trump so you can see exactly what I mean.
Donald Trump (3:37)
We're leading China in AI and whoever wins, AI wins. That's the power. This is bigger than the Internet.
This is a revolution, you know, we've had a few of them over the last 200 years, but this is a revolution. And I've seen some results that are incredible medically. You know, we're coming up with things medically that we wouldn't have maybe in 100 years.
Whoever wins with AI wins. And it's really right now, it's really between China and us. Thank you very much.
Don Tococo (4:11)
Okay, let me connect the dots. Our economy is running on the hopium of AI. The new wave of manufacturing jobs and reindustrialization is coming on the backs of AI. But all of the chips, raw materials and components come from China and mainly from this company called the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company, TSMC.
