What made you confident that you could do something that hadn't been done before? I have no fear of failure.

One of my favorite pieces of advice, think about what your boss's boss needs. Leadership can look in many, many different forms.

One stock not rallying today, Nike, just no way to sugarcoat it. Just a mistake where the turnaround taking longer than anticipated.

Jim Cramer (1:35)

Yeah, I became enamored of Elliott Hill, urged us to buy more when we saw Bob Swan from Intel, and we saw, of course, Tim Cook, happy birthday, 50 years, do a lot of insider buying, and in my career, that level of insider buying, I'm going to say has never been wrong. Never. And right now, it is very wrong. And I bit the bullet this morning. I know we're going to change the rating because I don't want people to buy it. To a two. Yeah. Fortunately, I think here, if you check the record, I did say don't buy it ahead of the quarter. But unfortunately, it was my selection, and I believed in the insiders and believe what I saw. Thought that the inventory was going to come down. It's still not down. Thought they would solve the problems with threats to consumer. Thought they would solve China problem. China's a little bit better, but then America's shifted. They're not willing to part with anything in terms of converse. It was a very big call, and it's a shame. I think they're great guys, but that doesn't matter.

SPEAKER_6 (2:38)

Yeah. I mean, look, to your point, insiders have historically guided us well. I'm thinking back to Eli Lilly in the 600s more recently. Lindy, late last year, with a well-timed buy by the CEO, came on Mad Money, explained it was still good. So, did not help us here. There you can see Lindy. But yeah, look, the problem with Nike is that, yes, they're beating the quarter, right, top and bottom line B, but the next quarter, they keep guiding down, guiding down, and they haven't been able to break this negative, this downward revision cycle, not expecting revenue growth, maybe for a couple more quarters now.

Jim Cramer (3:20)

Very disappointing. It's unacceptable. And they have a full analyst meeting. I said, look, guys, that's a very short period of time to get your head around all the things that are wrong there.

SPEAKER_6 (3:31)

So look, two quarters in a row of disappointments. That puts it in our penalty box. As we say, don't want to see three. That would probably mean you're out. So that's our view there.
