Obviously, if you own companies like retailers as we do, you're going to want, and Nike, got to be excited because the court struck down the reciprocal tariffs. But before I go further, I want to say that the market is circumspect about how much this is going to end up really scrapping the tariffs.

Carl Quintanilla (1:39)

Sure. And that's why some of these stocks aren't up even more. We've heard the administration say before they can get creative to find ways to put on levies. So, look, we'll have to see, we'll have to dig through the decision even further. I mean, it just came out as we were walking down here. But at least for today, yes, a positive impact. Nike, they've said on their earnings call it's a $1.5 billion annualized hit from the tariff. So, just a big boost to profits.

Jim Cramer (2:11)

It's one of the biggest. I mean, GAAP has big, and Ralph Lauren is big, Caterpillar's two-bill. But on what I would call the most concentrated negative tariff company is this one.

Carl Quintanilla (2:23)

Yeah.

Jim Cramer (2:24)

And so, this is the one to buy.

Carl Quintanilla (2:25)

I mean, Home Depot, Amazon. It's a really long list. Anything with big exposure.

Jim Cramer (2:30)

Well, the president is not available right now to be able to say it's all nonsense. I think when he does, you got to be ready for a hit. So, don't get greedy here if you're a trader.

Carl Quintanilla (2:38)

Yeah. And this, by the way, this news sent the market higher. We were dealing with a lower market in the pre-market trading, some disappointing economic data, whether it was a PCE index a little warm, GDP Q4 well below expectations, 1.4 percent, PMIs a little bit below estimates as well.

Jim Cramer (2:57)

Carl was portraying it as that horrible stagflation, you know, slow growth with higher inflation. I think that's too harsh. We know that the government shutdown hurt the growth. We also know that there are elements of the PC.

You gotta look at the breakdown of inflation at all times. Versus at one point we were traumatized by eggs. Eggs have broken. One time we were traumatized by rents. Now 18 out of 25 major cities have rents with a decline. So we've been traumatized by gasoline. Well, wait a second, what happens if they resolve the situation in Iran? So it's been fluid and all negative right now, but it may not stay negative.
