Jim Cramer here to share a short preview of my take on the market from today's members-only CNBC Investing Club morning meeting. Join the club for full access to the morning meeting every day at 10:20 a.m. Visit cnbc.com/morningtake to sign up today. That's one word, morning take.

I know we should talk morning, because that's really a company that reported some things that were remarkable, but nobody cared.

Jeff Marks (1:30)

The quarter was fine, just a bad day to report. And again, you had this parabolic move. Stock was as low as $1.45 this morning, so it's come back a little bit from there. But this was a double year today just the other day. But you had a small revenue beat, earnings per share $0.70, beating the street $0.69, strong growth in optical communications up 36% year over year, solar was strong. Key is that they finalized two more hyperscaler deals, same size and derailed too.

Jim Cramer (2:01)

But if it weren't for the Wall Street Journal out there today, I think people would have been buzzing about that.

Jeff Marks (2:06)

Yeah, these are in addition to the Meta deal. They didn't say who it was because they want, it's their customer's decision to say who it is.

Jim Cramer (2:13)

But maybe this is a chance for people who don't own it. If it comes down to minus 15 or 20 again, what do you think?

Jeff Marks (2:21)

Yeah, sure. Again, it's had a huge move here, so you gotta give it some time. But they did say those two deals are very significant and they share the risk and rewards of the required expansions with our strategic customers. They're holding an event next week, May 6th, where they're gonna update and upgrade and extend their springboard plan, which is their long-term planning.

And then they're also gonna introduce a new market access platform for Photonic. So that could be positive as well. I think one of the things, remember JP Morgan downgraded it just the other week. They want to see more visibility into the out years. I think upgrading the springboard plan can deliver that. And especially when you have these big deals with hyperscalers, these big long-term supply agreements. That should help as well.

Jim Cramer (3:09)

Right, the way to go get cornered is that people were probably betting correctly that they would announce these new hyperscalers. So that when they announce these new hyperscalers, it's not as exciting. However, it verifies this move.

This move now feels verified.
