Jeff Marks (1:24)

What do you make of? So I mentioned in this deal, AMD is giving warrants to Metta, and we know Metta right now is racing to secure their supply chain. What do you make of Corning? Didn't have to give up any warrants in their company when they announced the deal.

Jim Cramer (1:39)

I spoke to Lisa about that. I did not find necessarily that she dressed too much about AMD and not... I mean, I mentioned Corning because here's a company that has almost no competition. No one is going to say, I'm gonna pit Corning against X because there is no X. Corning has got the cheapest sand in the world. It's the best sand. It's the sand that's around Corning. Sand is very inexpensive, but they do have a lot of patents, including Wendell Weeks has patents himself. He's kind of a remarkable man. I come back and I say to myself, well, you know what, if you're the only one, only game in town, they just have to pay up. And that's all there is to it. And that's, I like that more. I like it more because I don't want to hear circular reasoning. I don't want, you know, it's, what I, look, AMD is working out of a position of weakness. If Nvidia decides to give a price break to Meta, then the next, you know, maybe Meta would cut off AMD. Jensen Wong's really competitive, but not if they own a lot of stock.

Jeff Marks (2:45)

Yeah, no, that's a fair point.

Jim Cramer (2:47)

Yeah, this stock was down a buck and a half.

Jeff Marks (2:49)

Yeah, optically negative Nvidia, negative for Broadcom too, Broadcom and Meta, close partners. That stops down a lot. People have been thinking, there's been some reports that Meta would buy Alphabet TPUs, which you know were designed by Broadcom.

Jim Cramer (3:05)

And Google's down on that.

Jeff Marks (3:05)

Maybe this means it won't, yeah.

Jim Cramer (3:07)

So we'll have to see there. I would love to buy Google. I would love to buy Google here, but we are restricted.

Jeff Marks (3:11)

We are restricted, but we'll keep an eye out.
