Very complicated market today because it's overlaid to the fact that oil is not up that much. But what people are talking about today is this dichotomy once again.
Software down, hardware up with the exception of Nvidia. And I think it's very interesting to see that you could probably sum it up as we were talking before him. The companies that receive checks from the hyperscalers, these are the microns of the world or SanDisk, are doing well and the companies that write the checks, the hyperscalers are doing badly.
SPEAKER_5 (1:56)
Sure. Follow the money, simple as that. And the money has been flowing into a lot of those AI hardware stocks. Now they did have a lot of those names. You mentioned a few there.
Corning, good example in the portfolio. Some really volatile action in the last few days. But we saw them start to rebound yesterday and that continues into today. But we're still dealing with a market that is unsure about what might happen next in the war with Iran and the cease deal and the cease fire, how strong that will be.
As you can see, the S&P is lower now. A lot of that has to do with the weakness in the hyperscalers, big mega cap weights.
Jim Cramer (2:41)
Right. And look, when you see Amazon down, you see Alfa down, you get a little nervous, Microsoft down, perhaps a little bit because the fact that Starbucks, whatever holdings is thinking about trying to figure out how to get rid of Microsoft, how to get rid of IBM.
Yesterday, I, not right price, but I decided that I was telling Jeff, we got to just be in a couple, we got to be in fewer semis because they're too volatile. I want to consolidate around Intel. Intel is my favorite stock in the portfolio, but don't want to add more money to semis. So we took the arm money, a very big game, not big enough. I know we could take it further to be in this, and I'm sticking by that. But I also want to point out that when we spoke to a fellow I really trust, Jack Snyder, who's actually controversial in Salesforce, the one thing you gotta agree on-

Analyst at KeyBank.
Jim Cramer (3:27)
Analyst at KeyBank. The thing that he said, look, the one thing you've got to understand, where the money's going, it's going to cyber-secured. Yes. And so that's the number one, and we have, we're with very good situations there with both Palo Alto and Cranstreet.
