Jeff Marks (1:24)
You did mention the Oscillator 7.17, so deeper into overbought territory. And you know, I remember when the Oscillator was minus seven, it was just a couple weeks ago.
Jim Cramer (1:36)
Yeah, the whole order was to put money in.
Jeff Marks (1:37)
Yeah, exactly. And that was our discipline, history on our side in that it was a good time to buy, which is why we did some buying.
Jim Cramer (1:45)
It was good that we did.
Jeff Marks (1:46)
You know, maybe it's a bullish view that we've gone from so deep oversold to so quickly overbought, kind of what happened last spring. But I still think we need to remain a little disciplined. We took off a chunk of Broadcom yesterday.
Jim Cramer (2:00)
I wish we could sell some Amazon. It's our biggest position. It's up gigantically. It's the best performing Mag-7. I would love to trim a little Amazon because it's having, yes, a fateful parabolic move.
Jeff Marks (2:13)
Yeah, finally recovering from the sell-off from the fourth quarter where there was a big freak out over their CapEx numbers. But they announced today they're buying Global Star. Cash and stock deal worth roughly $11 billion. This is all about Project Leo, or Amazon Leo. Yeah, to add direct-to-device services to its low-Earth orbit satellite network and extend cellular coverage to customers beyond the reach of terrestrial networks.
You know, look, if you go back to Andy Jassy's shareholder letter just last week, he talked about how there are billions of people on Earth who don't have access to high-speed internet. These are all potential customers. Maybe we take that for granted there. And by the way...
Jim Cramer (2:59)
Look, this is a huge business out of nowhere. It's a sudden pillar. It could be like advertising. It won't be like Amazon Web Services or like retail. But this will be something that we're going to be talking about and it flips from being something that I'm tired of hearing the losses to I think it's a big answer.
That's why it's up.
Jeff Marks (3:19)
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah, now the top performing mag seven, as you call it out, year to date. Doing a little bit better than Alphabet.
