I loved playing football, and I didn't want to end.
Bam! I did not ever want to end, and I went as long as I could.

**Shannon Sharpe** (0:37)
Hello, welcome to another episode of Club Shay Shay. I am your host, Shannon Sharpe. Also, the proprietor Club Shay Shay. Stopping by for conversation and a drink today? Man, this has been a long time coming. The first guy I'm going to introduce, he's an all-pro wide receiver, a three-time Super Bowl champ, a member of the Broncos' 50th anniversary team. He's enshrined in the Stanford Athletic Hall of Fame. Here he is, Easy Ed from Englewood, Ed McCaffrey. Thank you for joining us, Ed.
This guy is a 16-year NFL vet, and he never missed a single game. He's a four-time Super Bowl champ, and the only linebacker to start four Super Bowls. Here he is, Romo, Bill Romanowski.

**Steve Atwater** (1:13)
Romo.

**Shannon Sharpe** (1:16)
He's in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. He's in the Bronco Ring of Fame. He's an all-decade player, a safety in the 90s, a hard-hitting defensive back out of the University of Arkansas. Here he is, Muddy Waters, Steve Atwater.
He's one of the greatest undrafted free agents in NFL history. He's the first undrafted player to surpass 10,000 career seeding yards. He holds all the Broncos receiving records. Broke my records. And touchdown. And he's a Division II and a College Football Hall of Famer. Here are your foots, Rod Smith. This 13-year NFL vet played in 197 games. He led the Broncos special teams and tackled seven times. He served at the Broncos special teams captain, Keith Burns. He's a one-time All-Pro. He's more famous for making the one play that can define the Broncos. He had the biggest defensive play in Broncos history. He broke up the past in Super Bowl XXXII, Brad Favre and Tennis for Mark Tremor. Here he is, Mo, John Mobley. Mo, Mo.
He's a Pro Football Hall of Famer. He's an NFL MVP. He led the league in Russian with 2000 yards, 20 touchdown. He's the only player in NFL history to accomplish that stat. He also is a Super Bowl MVP, a member of the All-Decade teams of the 90s, the Broncos all-time leading Russia. And the reason why, the main reason we want one back-to-back Super Bowl, here he is, you, Terrell Davis.

**Terrell Davis** (2:39)
Hey, that's kind of light on that intro right there.

**Steve Atwater** (2:41)
That's kind of light. I've seen you do some, I've seen the intro.

**Shannon Sharpe** (2:46)
Three-time AFC Russian leader.

**SPEAKER_3** (2:47)
I mean, yeah, you want all that?

**Terrell Davis** (2:49)
I mean, I want it all, man. I come out here for you to just slice this apple, man.

**Shannon Sharpe** (2:55)
And of course, I was a member of that team also, but I am your host. Welcome, guys. You know what, guys? We got to get this thing here. We was talking about it. And hopefully, we got some of this camera, some of this B-roll.
Oh, man. All right. Damn, y'all moving on.

**Rod Smith** (3:10)
I'm a damn old folk to me.

**Shannon Sharpe** (3:13)
Guys, this really means a lot to me.
Obviously, you know, I'm on television a lot and people talk about, man, we hear you talk about the Super Bowl in the back to back years and what it was like with the Broncos. And I thought it would be a great idea to get a lot of the guys that made those back to back Super Bowls possible. But it was just more than the back to back, because it was something that led up to those back to backs. A lot of disappointment, but we had a lot of fun. And I want to thank all of you guys for taking times out of your busy schedule today to sit down and have a conversation. And I'm sure our fans, Bronco fans and a lot of fans, is going to love the stories that we tell of how we became, I say we the greatest Broncos ever. I don't care about nothing. Hell yeah.

**Steve Atwater** (3:49)
Cheers. Cheers.

**John Mobley** (3:51)
Salute, man.

**Shannon Sharpe** (3:51)
Cheers.

**John Mobley** (3:53)

**Keith Burns** (3:54)

**Rod Smith** (3:55)

**Keith Burns** (3:56)

**Steve Atwater** (3:57)

**John Mobley** (3:59)
