Conrad Thompson called you overrated. Booker T came to your defense, though.
Roman Reigns (0:03)
I mean, the truth is, are there a lot of people watching that guy's show? You already know I'm a metric mover. They know I give views and all that stuff, so it's fine. If they want to use my name to give views, that's the industry right now.

Roman Reigns (1:32)
That was nice, man. That was beautiful introduction.
Shannon Sharpe (1:35)
Thank you so much, man. When you hear somebody, and I don't know if you had it laid out quite that way, but when you think about all the things that you've accomplished thus far, what goes through your mind?
Roman Reigns (1:47)
I'm proud. I'm proud of my work. I'm proud of my resilience. I'm proud of my work ethic. I'm proud of the wisdom that I've gained along the way.
I'm not at the destination, but it's not easy, as you know, to enjoy the journey. Sometimes you get so locked in. But yeah, man, I'm proud of myself.
Shannon Sharpe (2:11)
We're going to start with your movie career, and then we'll work our way back to WMB. Let's toast. I don't know if you drink or if you wanted to have water. You're probably in training now, so what do you want to do?
Roman Reigns (2:19)
I don't want to be disrespectful. I'll toast with you. Why not? Absolutely.
Shannon Sharpe (2:22)
To the new movie Street Fighters. Appreciate you, bro.
Roman Reigns (2:24)
Thank you, sir. That's nice.
Shannon Sharpe (2:31)
Appreciate that. Appreciate it. So let's get to the new movie. It's called Street Fighter.
The cast, 50 Cent, Jason Momoa, Cody Rhodes, Eric Andre, Andrew Schultz. What? Let me ask you this. When you're on a movie, do you try to like, let me hit my part or are you trying to make sure the whole cast, the ensemble, this thing really comes together?
Roman Reigns (2:51)
Well, no different than football. I'm just trying to do my job. You know what I mean? So I mean, and I'm not the guy, like I'm the new guy. I'm one of the circus acts that are coming and being involved with the real actors. So I'm just trying to find my role, find my place, find the skin of the character that I'm playing, and then bring my best performance. So really, I mean, not trying to be selfish, but just really locked into what I was doing.
Shannon Sharpe (3:18)
So what can we expect from this movie?
Roman Reigns (3:21)
I think especially if you're around our age or even a little younger, if you went through the 90s, then you're going to feel that nostalgia. I think we're going to be able to pull you back. I mean, I've read this script a few times all the way through, and this is what I pictured. I mean, when I got to Sydney when we were shooting, and I saw the highlights and the sizzle reel and what they had done, it was in the exact light that I was reading it. So, I mean, it's fun. I mean, that's what it's meant to be, a good time. And I think we are able to pull on a different, a few different emotional, different strings, but at the same time, it's big and it's fun.
Shannon Sharpe (3:57)
It's heavy costume and makeup. How long did it take you to get into wardrobe every single day?
Roman Reigns (4:02)
Man, credit to the team.
The first day, probably about two and a half hours, that was the test and we had to go, go see Katow, the director, and make a little adjustment here and there. So, all together, probably about three hours that first time, but they got it down to... Stream laden. Probably about 90 minutes. Yeah, they got pretty quick every day.
