Yeah, Gil, my boy. Just me and Gil, he was the first person to call me once I got drafted. He had two houses out there. He let me stay in one of them for free. I didn't have to pay no rent or nothing, so.

And just learned it from him. Even though I learned a lot of the off-the-court stuff.

I would say our first, our second game against Boston. I think it was the first year of the big three with the KG. Yeah.

Ray Allen and all them. And they subbed me in, but we was already down like 15 points at the time. And they subbed me and Andre Blatch in.

And it was at the foul line. KG looked at Andre Blatch like, who this motha guarding me?

I don't even know this motha. I'm like, they took like this in the NBA? Off rip? But they end up going from 15 to like 20

And we got the blame from it. So, you know, I ended up playing the next three games cause Gil was like, the motha fucker's not ready. Don't put them in the game. I'm like, y'all already losing.

Man, one time Gil took my car and just... One time he ran into all the trash cans down the street. He's like, remember I had his house, so we stayed like not too far from each other.

So he took my Range Rover and we were just hitting every, you know, trash can.

Crazy. I said, no, bro. But then he gave me his black car and... You'll get it fixed. But it was this one time that I was staying downtown in the summertime. He was bored, took my car.

But his car was parked. His car was parked. But he took my car and he just ran into like a pole or something. I'm like, no, he don't do nothing like that. So I went in his car and took all his credit cards. Boy, we had a ball. I went to Louis Vuitton with it. But Gil Slick, he had his friend act like the police. So the police called my friend, like, this is the police, do you got Gil Rinas? And my friend was nervous, like, dog, Gil called the police. You know he'll call the police on us. I don't want to go to jail. Because my friend had took his wallet while he was. So we went on a shopping spree. He said, we've seen you spend $20,000 in Louis Vuitton. If you don't give us this credit card, Gil said we will pull up and arrest you or something like that. So my friend like, you scared me? I'm scared. I'm like, dog, Gil ain't going to make us go to jail. We on the same team.

Friends try to be nice guy, give Gil the card back, end up getting tied up, shot with paintballs.

I was like, hey, I told your ass. I knew Gil, but yeah, tied him up. I said, I'm not going with you. He said, man, come with me to his house to give him stuff back. I'm like, hell no, Gil. Yeah, we winning right now. He took his wallet, we spent all kinds of stuff.
