Thank you for coming back. Part two is underway.
Hillary Duff said she didn't want, I saw this also, you see a lot of stuff on social media, that she originally didn't want a husband because she thought it was too nice.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:13)
Oh, I remember her saying that.

**SPEAKER_3** (0:14)
Hillary Duff said that? Yeah.

**Shannon Sharpe** (0:16)
And I've seen other women saying they broke up with their boyfriend because he was too nice.

**KevOnStage** (0:21)
You know what?
We did some Ball Brother shows in Philly and New York, and them women, they brought him on stage and asked questions. It was very common that women in those two cities specifically, but a lot of East Coast cities was like, if he's too nice, we broke up.

**Tony Baker** (0:38)
He's telling me good morning, man. Watch out.

**KevOnStage** (0:40)
She literally, this one lady said that they was riding the subway together and he fell asleep on her shoulder. She was like, we done.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:47)
We done.

**Shannon Sharpe** (0:48)
What? Because he tired, he probably working himself to death.

**Tony Baker** (0:50)
I can't have no man falling asleep on my shoulder.

**SPEAKER_2** (0:53)
We was done after that.

**KevOnStage** (0:56)
But no, that is a common thing.

**Tony Baker** (0:58)
I was told that when I was younger. Like you too nice. This girl I like, man, Shonda, man, you know who you are when you talked about this.
Shonda, you was telling me you too nice. You told me that all the time.

**Shannon Sharpe** (1:09)
Allegedly, he said, allegedly, Shonda, you said that, allegedly.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:12)
No, she said it.

**SPEAKER_3** (1:16)
We still cool.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:17)
You know you did me like that.

**Tony Baker** (1:20)
She said I was too nice, but I was like, man. But I didn't turn into a complete villain, I could have. That could have been my origin story. I couldn't believe it, man. I'm about to do these hoes dirty, man.

**KevOnStage** (1:30)
Women have said that, not in theory. I think you really gotta know who you want. I am a square corny guy, and I'm okay with that. Liz is okay with that. She would not do well with a dude like them East Coast girls want. And Jill Scott has this quote, if you can tell me what to do, you can tell me what to do. If you can't tell me what to do, you can't tell me what to do.
That's exactly what I'm talking about. I don't want to know why I got to tell you what to do.

**SPEAKER_2** (1:59)
Do what you're supposed to do.

**KevOnStage** (2:00)
So I also wouldn't want to be with a woman who wants a man like that. That's why you got to find out who's for you and know who you are. Because otherwise we're wasting each other's time. I'm a nice guy.
I mean, I ain't no punk, but I'm a nice guy. But if you want to tussle and argue and all, boy, I want to tell you. You want chaos. Man, some people do, but see I grew up in a peaceful home. My dad told me, he was like, I remember one day I wanted some Jordans or something. He was like, let me tell you what son, I don't have money for that. But what I do have to offer you is a peaceful home. Me and your mother don't argue. You ain't never seen us throwing those things. We ain't cussing each other out. You come home to peace. From that moment, I was like, you know what, you right.

**Tony Baker** (2:42)
He swindled you.

**Shannon Sharpe** (2:43)
He swindled you, I let you cuss momma, you momma, you cuss you.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:47)
He swindled you beautifully.

**Tony Baker** (2:50)
That was bars, man.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:51)
You see, he had got a queen.

**Tony Baker** (2:53)
He was like, when I can't promise you peace. Kev was like, you right, peace.

**SPEAKER_2** (2:58)
It worked on me.

**Tony Baker** (2:59)
He walked off with the raggedy sneakers on.

**SPEAKER_2** (3:02)
Walked straight to that Burger King in Fort Lewis and applied for a child and bought my own Jordan.

**KevOnStage** (3:07)
But I've been trying to replicate that ever since. I want a peaceful house and that's what we have for our kids.
My son was telling me, he was like, my son had went to a school retreat. He came back and they had all these sharing moments. He came back, he was like, I got to thank y'all. I know these other kids, they's like, my dad's abusive and he smacked me across the wall.
Our kids were like, hey man, my parents are nice. I don't really know what to say in these moments. I think I've raised kids like that too. I'm not even saying that's problematic, but you often want to replicate what's normal to you, even if it's not right. It is normal. Busting, cussing, arguing can feel like regular life. If it's too quiet, now it's like, this feels off.
