To the contrary, as Charlie Sykes stops by to talk about Donald Trump's endorsements, failing again. Then we'll talk to Strength in Numbers, G. Elliott Morris, about the way social experiment polls are shaping the political narrative, but first, the news.

Somali, we had primaries last night.
I think the pollsters who said Jared Moskowitz were going to lose deserve us to give us an explanation because it was nowhere close. And Debbie Wasserman Schultz got the seat that she decided to run in despite getting a lot of pushback because she ran in a black district where she got less than a majority of the vote. I, for one, am sad because Luther Campbell didn't win who came in last, who was my candidate because I wanted to see someone from two live crew in Congress.

I know, two live crew is amazing. All right, let's break down what happened last night because there were yet another group of primaries. There's a lot going on with these primaries that I'd love to talk through. First of all, Florida had redistricting. So the maps were all redrawn in order. Ron DeSantis, who is, by the way, historically unpopular, who is riding a Trump wave. For corruption, there's a number of scandals happening there. He redrew these districts and he redrew both the Debbie Wasserman Schultz District and the Jared Moskowitz District.
The Moskowitz District is part of the district that he represented before, but it is much more Republican.
One of the things that I think Moskowitz did that is really great is that he decided to run in this district that is now a very mega district.
But it's a toss up in this environment, so that's another thing. He is running against the former mayor of Boca Raton. So this district now is much more red, but it's also a district that again, you have the West Virginia Joe Manchin situation where Moskowitz is the candidate who could run, who could win in this district because A, he has already represented a lot of this district. And he also is that kind of candidate. He's very pro-Israel and this is a very pro-Israel district. We were, before we were recording this, fighting about this, but I truly believe when you look at the, this is Jesse and I were having a fight about this, but if you look at the Wasserman district, Wasserman Schultz, she decided to take the safe district, which is a D plus whatever, which is the only majority minority district now in Florida. So it should be represented by someone who is in minority, and Wasserman Schultz took it instead. And because there were a number of, there were about four other black candidates, they split the vote and we had 18 percent got, went to a bunch of candidates, 23 percent went to one candidate, 13 percent went to the other. So Wasserman Schultz though was unable to clear 50, got to 45 percent. The Congressional Black Caucus is furious as well they probably should be. And this is a seat where she really could have run in a more competitive seat, let that seat go to someone who was minority, because it is a majority minority seat. And, and perhaps done what Jared Moskowitz may do, which is win a seat that otherwise Democrats would lose. And in a tight, tight environment like that, you really want every seat you can, because that's the difference between to have a Speaker Hakeem or a Speaker, you know, whoever becomes the Speaker of the House, and another two years of Mike Johnson doing everything he can to enrich Donald Trump.

So let's move to another race. One of the things I hear all day is, oh my God, it's these Democratic socialists who have these views about changing police budgets or getting people Medicare. They're so awful. Last night, we saw in a hard, hard thing to beat, probably the most racist Islamophobic congressman, Randy Fine beat a guy whose views he does not dispute are that of a Nazi. So all these voters voted for two people with some of the most reprehensible views.
We always have to hear Democrats answering for who's the most radical member of our thing. Well, the Republicans have a bunch of domestic abusers and the vile racist Islamophobe versus the Nazi who got 20 percent in the race.
