Well, let's pray. Is that time where we put a pause on everything? Thank you for joining me wherever you are right now. I know how busy life is, and sometimes it's hard to pump the brakes, right? And to just to pray, give that time to God. Sometimes I experience it, too, believe it or not. I love prayer, but sometimes I just look at my schedule, and I'm like, oh, where am I gonna find time to pray? I gotta do this, I have to do that. God creates time. He's the author of it. And if you give God your time, trust me on this one. He'll give you time. You'd be surprised at how things work out. And this comes from a woman named Sandy. And Sandy, I'll leave your last name anonymous, but she wrote to me on the feast of the miracle of the sun. And it was interesting because what I came away from this email with is that God hears our prayers, even when the answers seem a long time coming. And I know that's a case for that drug addicted loved one of yours, or alcoholic, or that child away from the faith, or maybe it's a new break, or that spouse you're looking for. Sometimes you gotta pray a really long time. So I get this email from a woman named Sandy whose family owned a place called Red Wing Shoe Store. It was in Randall, Minnesota. And for years, Sandy and her husband were praying for financial help with their business. And they've been praying for somebody to come by to buy the business. And she prayed at Divine Mercy Chaplet with us right here in the studio, in relevant radio.

She came in with her sister. I think it was her sister. And then she carried intention to Rome. She went to Lourdes. She went to all these places seeking God's mercy. Even placed a statue of St. Joseph in the store, figuring he can surely help sell the business. So on May 13th of this year, it's the feast of Our Lady of Fatima, of course. She visits relevant radio studio. Her sister Barb comes with her. Two beautiful women. They came in the studio. And she said, would you please pray that the business would finally sell?

And then we brought that intention to this family here that I call the Divine Mercy family. And thousands of us joined in prayer. I took it to my heart. I prayed for her in a particular way.

And at the time, there were some potential buyers. And when she came in, she said, we have a potential buyer. You know, let's pray that it happens. But they backed out. And then another disappointment. After a year waiting, and she just didn't know what God was doing. But apparently God had a different plan. About a month later, a woman walks into the store with her father. And it turned out that her father had graduated with Sandy's husband. And his daughter was interested in buying a business. So Sandy thought, what are the chances that this young woman would want to buy a Red Wing shoe store in a small Minnesota town?

Well, she did. Right, so on September, the sale was finalized. Sandy had expected it might take a year or two to sell the business instead. It sold in less than seven months. And here's something beautiful. She wrote to me on October the 13th, the anniversary of the great miracle of the sun. And she had asked for our prayers on May 13th, another great Fatima anniversary. Five months later, she's sharing these wonderful news. But my takeaway from her story was not just a sale that went through. But Sandy could see God's hand guiding everything, even when she was impatient, right? She says, you know, he answers prayers in his time. She was aware of that. And isn't that the truth? Because I know you're praying right now for something, and it doesn't seem like your prayers are reaching the heavens. Maybe you've been praying for years. Maybe it's that financial difficulty or that struggling marriage or that child away from the faith or that loved one who's seriously ill right now. Perhaps you've wondered, gosh, do my prayers, do they reach God? Is he listening?
