I see phone lines are already beginning to fill up here in the studio, and if you want to get in, the best way to do that, stick this in your speed dial. It's 888-914-9149, 888-914-9149.
We take five, six, maybe seven calls, depending on where we are in the chaplet, and we'll take your intentions, bring them to our spiritual family, and together we can pray together. I love that. So feel free to do that. Nick will be on our social media. You can check him out online at our next account, at Drew Mariani Show. It's at Drew Mariani Show. Follow me at Drew Mariani as well. And of course, we are streaming on Relevant Radio Plus and on YouTube and on Facebook. And it's always great to have you praying with us. Just a real quick programming note before I go to Brooke and we begin to pray.
This Thursday, and I want to put it on your calendar, 1 p.m. Central Time, Father Rocky is going to be praying the Rosary. I'll be praying it across our platforms. You can probably get it on the mobile app, the web, go to Relevant Radio Plus. He's going to start the presentation 1 p.m. Central to Eastern. Brooke Taylor and I will go ahead and anchor the live coverage of the beatification of Bishop Fulton Sheen. You can watch that video stream this Thursday. Again, it all starts at 2 Eastern, 1 Central. And it's on Relevant Radio Plus, our Relevant Radio app, relevantradio.com. Tell others about it and be sure in joining us. I'm joined by my colleague Brooke right now. And Brooke, it's great to have you back. Good afternoon.
Brooke Taylor (1:59)
Good afternoon, Drew. Excited to pray together.
Drew Mariani (2:01)
It's going to be a busy week for us. A lot going on.
Brooke Taylor (2:04)
Looking forward to it. This is one of those moments you just feel that you're living through history. And what a blessed time to celebrate. We've had a lot of exciting moments between Pope Leo being elected and the consecration of our nation to the Sacred Heart this year. And just the National Eucharist of Congress two years ago. So happy to celebrate with you and our family here.
Drew Mariani (2:28)
It'll be a special graceful day. I mean, that's for sure. Anything you want to pray for? Anything on your heart? Anything you want to share?
Brooke Taylor (2:34)
Yes, very much. You may have heard the story about Cindy Crawford's 27-year-old son. He died in rehab this week from an overdose. And 27 is, I feel, young. His name is Presley.
And just the agony. He had spoken quite a lot. He did something called Mental Health Mondays on his social media where he was very open about his struggles with mental health and really trying to find his way. And I just want to pray for his soul. His name is Presley. And for all those who struggle with the cross of addiction, mental illness, and for their families.
Drew Mariani (3:08)
Yeah, it's such an important prayer.
Thanks for that, Brooke. Nick, anything you want to start us off with?
Nick (3:12)
Sure, Drew. Our colleague Janet asked us to pray for her cousin Verna who has breathing problems. So prayers for her. And also, I haven't asked our colleague this. I will leave this person's name anonymous, but one of our colleagues' mom is in hospice, so prayers for her.
She enters her final moments.
Drew Mariani (3:30)
Nick and I pray the angels together every day with the rest of the network. And there was an intention for, was it a 45-year-old father, Nick? I think he was 45
Dr. Rick Froyd (3:37)
Yeah. Who died?
Nick (3:39)
48, maybe.
Drew Mariani (3:40)
Pardon me?
Nick (3:40)
I think 48, maybe.
Drew Mariani (3:42)
Or 48
Nick (3:42)
With two young kids.
Drew Mariani (3:44)
Died of pancreatic cancer. I'm going to pray for his family, all those who mourn today. So, heavy, heavy intentions. And let's pray for you, all right? You know, I know in these situations that we hear, sometimes you feel God is far away, right? There are moments when we pray, and I think sometimes we wonder, you know, if prayer ever makes it past the ceiling, right?
And maybe you're praying for that healing right now, or maybe it's that child, or maybe it's your spouse that has cancer, or maybe you begged him to repair your marriage, you know, or to open a new door, whatever the intention might be.
