So good to be able to pray with you. I can't tell you how much it means to me. And wherever you are, whatever you are carrying, join me in praying this prayer. I can't tell you how much I love this prayer. I pray my Chaplet and I pray my Rosary every day. Of course, nothing more powerful than the Mass. But right now, we have an opportunity to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy together. You can pray the Rosary with Father Rocky a little later tonight at 7 o'clock. But let's bring our loved ones. Let's bring those worries. Let's bring those hopes. And let's put them together and enhance Jesus. This is such a powerful gift of mercy. When we pray, it's like one voice. Not mine. It's not just yours. We all unite together. And I believe great graces flow. So just take a moment, open your heart, pray with me right now, and we'll invite the Lord's mercy into our lives and into these situations that can be quite troubling. It's great. You've been super busy, huh?

**Brooke Taylor** (2:02)
Well, the news has been really busy at summertime, so I've been waiting for this day. It's good to pray with you again. How are you?

**Drew Mariani** (2:09)
We missed having you here behind the mic. It was great. Now, I get to listen to your news broadcast throughout the show here, which is always great. But I'm well. I'm doing okay. I was struggling with my ankle. I'll probably give everybody a quick update on that, too. Yeah, you know, I had recovered and then I think I re-injured it. So I was out a couple of weeks ago, really. And I've had multiple injuries, a tear in the Achilles and tendons and bone bruises. It's like somebody that's hit me with a sledgehammer. And it was just an innocent injury that I came across.
I'm on the mend. I really feel great today. I'm back in the shoes and I'm, you know, I got rid of the crutches. And so I think I'm on the I'm on the mend. I spoke to Father Rocky this morning. He said, you better still take it easy for those 10 days. Keep, stay off that foot. Because that's what happened. I did too much. So I will pray for anyone having, you know, ankle injuries or orthopedic issues or bone problems or even ligament tears or whatever you're going through right now, ACLs.
I mean, when you lose the ability to be mobile, it is tough. It is really a difficult thing. So let's pray for the foot, plantar fasciitis. Nick said to me, because the gentleman, one of the doctors who took care of me, he stopped him by the studio for mass tomorrow here at the network. I said, oh, you got to come by. And Nick says, you ought to do a segment on it. I mean, think of all the problems people have with their feet. You know, let's get them on. So we'll do something in the days ahead, but we'll pray for that today. What do you want to pray for? Anything on your radar, anything in your heart?

I'll tell you what, the news has been so heavy lately. And interestingly, I've been covering the funeral of Lindsey Graham today. That just occurred this afternoon. And as sad and sorrowful as funerals are, there's obviously a beauty and a power in praying for the soul of our beloved departed. And you do see a unity in our country that is not very common anymore. And so I was edified by that. And today also, I noticed that the president put out a statement shared by the USCCB for the 45th anniversary of the martyrdom of Father Stanley Roether. And he was the first American born martyr that was killed in Guatemala. And today is the 45th anniversary. He's from Oklahoma. So on that note, I just want to pray for continued culture of life and healing and restoration of faith in our country.
