Welcome back, everyone. I'm Ed Morrissey filling in for Drew today, and welcome to the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. You can give us a call, you can join us on air, or you can just pass along your prayer intentions at 888-914-9149, 888-914-9149.

You can also go to relevantradio.com/pray.

You can always submit your prayer intentions through the website. We're always looking for ways to pray for you, to pray with you. We know that you're praying with us, and we feel that we really appreciate it. And you can also go, if you're on X or Twitter, you can go to the Drew Mariani Show account, at Drew Mariani Show. Leave us your prayer intentions there. You can tag me at Ed Morrissey along with that. And our producer Nick will be checking on that and making sure that we get a chance to pray with you and mention your prayer intentions on the air. So be sure to do that as well. Joining me today to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy is Maribeth Head. She is, I believe, the donor. I'm always going to get this wrong. The donor coordinator, is that correct?

Maribeth Head (1:35)

Do I have that right? Almost, donor relations coordinator.

Ed Morrissey (1:37)

Donor relations coordinator. Yes. This is what happens when you misplace your notes.

Maribeth Head (1:43)

Oh, that's okay. It's good to be back praying with you, Ed. It's been a while.

Ed Morrissey (1:48)

It has been a while.

And I am very glad to be praying with you. Do you have any prayer intentions that you would like to mention?

Maribeth Head (1:55)

I do. I wanted to pray for my 7-year-old nephew, Reese, who lives in Florida. He asked me to pray for his teacher and his class. And he'll also be making his first communion in the spring. So I want to lift him up as well as my little buddy and just that God would keep him happy and holy and healthy.

Ed Morrissey (2:12)

Oh, that's lovely. Nothing better than that.

You go to Mass and you see all these kids and they're dressed the way that we know we're all supposed to dress but don't at Mass.

Maribeth Head (2:23)

I know. And they're so cute.

Ed Morrissey (2:25)

They're so cute and they're just, it's so wonderful. It's just so sweet and innocent too.

Maribeth Head (2:29)

There's just something about little communicants.

Ed Morrissey (2:32)

It's just wonderful. So I love it when we have those happen during the year, obviously around Easter and that sort of thing, you're going to get those anyway, but that's wonderful.

That's a great prayer intention. I have a couple of prayer intentions. I always pray for my wife, Marcia, because she is a huge prayer warrior. She does this every day. She's always praying along with the Chaplet of Divine Mercy.

And for my parish community here in Waco and at St. Jerome's, they're wonderful people, just such a welcoming, loving community, and we are so blessed to have them in our lives. But one other thing, one of the people who works for me is in the Florida Panhandle. And of course, we've got Hurricane Isaias, I think it is, is bearing down on the Florida Panhandle in Alabama. And a couple of years ago, we lost one of our colleagues in Houston during a hurricane and extended power outage. And she had passed away, but nobody knew about it because all the power was out and there was no communication. So I want to pray for my friend and colleague who is there and her family, that everybody comes through safely and everybody in the path of the hurricane finds their way to safety and that the damage is minimal, and that people are able to continue being happy and healthy in that area. And I know it's going to be difficult for the next few days, but we're going to be praying for them, praying for everybody who's impacted by that. So those are my intentions going into this. And I know that there are plenty of people who are still calling in with theirs, 888-914-9149. And we would love to have you on air to share your prayer intentions with us and with all of the relevant radio audience. So let's begin in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

Maribeth Head (4:26)

Amen.

Ed Morrissey (4:27)

You expired Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and the ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world. O fount of life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelope the whole world and empty yourself out upon us.
