Brooke Taylor (1:28)
Hi, Ed. Good to pray with you. Good afternoon.
Ed Morrissey (1:30)
And on the feast day for St. Faustina, too, that's really special.
Brooke Taylor (1:35)
Absolutely.
Ed Morrissey (1:36)
I have to drop Drew a note and thank him for that one.
I think he let that one sneak by, so I'm just going to appreciate that and send him a nice thank you for that later on down the road. Brooke, do you have any prayer intentions that you'd like to bring today?
Brooke Taylor (1:51)
Well, actually, Ed, on that note, I just think today would be a great day to pray for Drew. This is such a special devotion, obviously, that in his obedience and dedication that he has brought throughout the years every day, faithfully, this chaplet and bringing souls to our Lord and the ocean of his mercy, his healing, his grace, especially for the dying, and the fruit of that cannot be calculated and his love for St. Faustina. So just want to pray for Drew today, for Nick and for Patrick and Helen and Maggie and all those who pray with us, especially those who pray with us in their suffering, that we will probably never know the side of heaven, those who are in a nursing home or unable to call or all the hidden places, special graces for them today. Also want to pray for special peace and protection in our world and in hearts. I've been following the story out of Russia, the outbreak that's in the news, the mnemonic plague.
We are in such a crazy time where you don't even know what's real anymore, and I know these things can really make people have such anxiety, and sometimes it's legitimate. I saw that President Trump just weighed in on this, and the WHO and the European Commission. So just want to pray for St. Genevieve. She's the patron saint against plagues. And first, Our Lady of Fatima. This is coming out of Russia, and St. Faustina, to pray for us all.
Ed Morrissey (3:13)
Those are great prayers. Those are great prayer intentions, Brooke, and thank you so much.
I want to, I always pray for my wife, you know, Marsha, she's a huge prayer warrior. She does this every day. She loves the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. So Happy Feast Day of St. Faustina, honey. It's great that you're out there praying with us. I like to pray for, I recently joined the Knights of Columbus. They're a big sponsor, right?
Nick (3:40)
That's fantastic, Ed.
Ed Morrissey (3:42)
The Drew Mariani Show. Yeah, I used to resist that.
I'm not much for meetings. And so I used to resist this, but I kind of opened my heart to this. And my brothers at St. Jerome Parish are just wonderful. It's a great organization. And their meetings are great. I don't know why I wanted to resist it.
But I just want to pray for them. It's such a great community there. And I haven't had a chance to mention them. So I'm going to mention them today, offer prayer for them as well. And just really enjoying my time with them. And so, yes, and I did join something that requires meetings. And I feel like I was called for a little bit.
Brooke Taylor (4:23)
We all have meeting fatigue after a while. But when it's a brotherhood like that, it sounds like it's very filling. What a blessing.
