Well, good afternoon and welcome. It's great to be here with you today. I am really grateful to be able to spend my afternoon with you. And I was away for a bit, and it's good to be back. I've been praying for you. I hope you've been doing the same thing for me. Before we begin the chapel today, I want to ask you to do me a favor. It's something you're probably gonna hear me talk about on several occasions.

There is a huge act right now. It's called the AM.

What's it called? The AM for Every Vehicle Act is what it's called. And this is something that is gonna go up for a vote in the not-too-distant future. I think it's next week. And this is a great way to support Relevant Radio. And we broadcast, I think, over 220 stations across the country. I've mentioned before, the third largest radio network, secular or religious, in the nation. And right now, 60 of our stations are AM stations. And next week, this AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act is up for a critical vote in the US. House. And it was, if it is signed into law, it would ensure that AM radio would remain a standard feature in all vehicles. And it would also give Relevant Radio a platform to bring to you the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, bring you the Rosary, to bring to you the news and issues of the day, to give to you, on a consistent basing, clear teaching of the faith. And there's really nothing like Relevant Radio. And that's not in any way to disparage any other organization, but Relevant Radio is really quite unique. And if you tune in, you know that. With the programming that you get, you hear the lives that have been changed. So if you want AM radio to continue to be in your car, and a lot of vehicles now are beginning to get rid of AM radio altogether, contact your representative and urge them to vote yes on the AM radio for every vehicle act. I think it'll be huge. And Nick, if you can find me that 800 number for the capital switchboard, I'll give it to you. What you do is call them up, tell them where you're from, they'll bring you to your representative, and you'll probably get a voice mail, and just say, hey, please vote yes on the AM radio for every vehicle act. That's all you have to do. If enough people did it, I think everything would be okay. That's for sure. And I'll talk to you more about it. It's not just about having Relevant Radio on there. I mean, AM is a powerful platform that travels tremendous distances in times of difficulty. I mean, your AM signals, your FM signals on a very different band. I won't get into it now. We'll talk about it maybe when this is all over. But bottom line, that's it. Nick just sent me over the number. Here it is. It's 202-224-3121.

202-224-3121. And if you make the phone call, you'll do your part. So, and before we begin to, I just, as I said, I was away. I want to thank a couple of people, right?

I was thinking about the charism of hospitality. Every year I go away with some friends and we really are entertained by a very generous couple and their family. And I was thinking about how beautiful the charism of hospitality really is. And you know it when you experience it and you walk into someone's home and I don't know, you immediately feel welcome. And I was reminded that that of, just recently there's some dear friends who now for probably the eighth or ninth year in a row have entertained me and another couple, my wife and I travel with another couple, actually there's three couples of us that get together every year. And they spoil us. They took such wonderful care and they left us feeling less like a guest and more like family. And I just wanted to say thank you to them. So Dolly and Craig, thank you for your generosity. Sybil and Scott, thank you for your hospitality and also for your friendship as well. And Cindy and Joel, thank you too. You guys are fantastic.

So the thoughtfulness, the attention to detail, feeling generally welcome, I mean, it's a beautiful thing. And it made me think of scripture, right? There's this great line in scripture. It says, do not neglect hospitality, for through it, some have unknowingly entertained angels. So if you have an opportunity to show charity or hospitality to somebody, then do it. And it's a great way to minister. There's something profound about that. When you open up your home or your heart to another person, I think in some respects you serve God in a really beautiful way. And again, I wanna thank them for that. I'm gonna offer my chaplet for them and for their intentions and for their children. And well, thank you for praying with me here too. Brooke Taylor prays with me every day, just about. And Brooke, it's good to have you back. Good afternoon.
