Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Occult Activity in New Minions Movie

And at some time, let's pray. Let's pray the chaplet, let's pray for unity in this country, let's pray for peace in the world.
I want to pray in a particular way for anyone involved in the occult today, anyone who is battling struggle with pornography or impurity.
The reason I want to do that today is, of course, the feast of the great St. Mary Magdalene apostle to the apostles and a woman who scripture tells us had seven demons. And I've spoken to, Freda Bynes is a very, he's an actress in a very large diocese and he shared with me many of the encounters he's had with the dark side and how certain saints really are very powerful in the liberation process. And Mary Magdalene is one of those, especially when it comes to sexual sins, when it comes to occult activity and things along those lines. So if you have somebody in your life that is struggling in those areas, maybe it's you, let's call upon her, okay? We will pray, we will ask for her intercession, and of course, we'll bring all this to the foot of the cross.
We'll beg God's mercy today as we unite together in this very, very special time. I've got the great privilege of praying with several people today. Maribeth joins me. Maribeth, good to have you on the other side today. Yes, hi Drew. Anything you want to pray for? Anything you want to start us off with?

Yes, my mom's birthday was on Sunday, so I wanted to pray for the repose of her soul, and she was the one who introduced me to the Chaplet several years ago, so I just know she'd be thrilled. I'm getting to pray this on air as part of my workday.

**Drew Mariani** (1:54)
That's so great. That's fantastic. Happy birthday to your mom.

**Maribeth** (1:57)
Thank you so much.

**Drew Mariani** (1:58)
And I'd love to hear how people were introduced to the Chaplet. We all have our stories, but boy, it's a game changer, isn't it?

**Maribeth** (2:05)
It is. It's been a big deal in my life, so I'm so thankful.

**Drew Mariani** (2:08)
Were you always devoted to the Rosary first?

**Maribeth** (2:10)
Not so much. It was more like the Divine Mercy Chaplet came first, and then I got more into the Rosary. But honestly, the Divine Mercy Chaplet's kind of my go-to, so I'm really, I love it so much.

**Drew Mariani** (2:22)
I love it. I pray both every day, but I used to pray. I mean, it used to be my go-to. It was always the Rosary, the Rosary, the Rosary. And now if I wake up in the middle of the night or there's some need, I mean, I always go to the Chaplet first. And of course, Our Lady too. I mean, I don't ever want to diminish the Rosary. It's a powerful, very beautiful prayer.
It takes a little bit longer than a chaplet. We pray the chaplet here takes a little bit longer because we spend time talking with our callers. But it's a short prayer. If you really need an emergency, prayer said, if you pray the chaplet, start to finish, it's probably 10 minutes.

**Maribeth** (2:55)
Yeah, I was just gonna say, it's a real good, quick prayer. Sometimes I can pray to my short commute to work. And so it's just, like you said, 10 minutes and you can just get it all out. So that's what I like about it.

**Drew Mariani** (3:05)
And like the Rosary, there's so many promises. I love the chaplet. And I've seen the fruit of both. I was talking with Father Rocky the other day and one of my colleagues, we were way together.
Just about how my own father, who battled alcohol addiction, was liberated. And I credit the power of the Rosary to that my mother prayed that probably for 20 years, 30 years. It was probably my entire life she prayed for that man. And he had a miraculous healing, had a Marian sight. And I've seen the fruit of this chaplet, as I talk about all the time, from cancer disappearing to all sorts of other miracles taking place.

**Maribeth** (3:38)
It's just absolutely amazing. We're just so blessed in the Catholic faith to have so many resources and Divine Mercy chaplet, especially I find myself using it a lot more these days. I just am so thankful for it.

**Drew Mariani** (3:49)
