Well, thank you for praying with me today. If you want to join me, feel free to try to call. The number is 888-914-9149.

You might be able to get through right down to I2C1, maybe two lines that are open. I know it will fill up. Nick is on social media, though. And he will definitely get your petitions if you send him a post at Drew Mariani Show. Give voice to them and bring them to our prayer family here, this community of people around the country and around the world to pray together every day at this time, the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. This is such an incredibly beautiful, such a powerful prayer. It really is. I love this prayer so much. I've seen so much fruit from it. I pray it many times a day. I pray my rosary as well. And I would encourage you to pray both. I would encourage you to go to daily mass if you don't do that. If you've been away from the church for a while, I invite you to come home, maybe get to the Sacrament of Reconciliation.

These channels of grace, I think, are just extraordinary, and they will change your world view. You'll see your spiritual landscape clarify, and you'll find that walk with the Lord quite rewarding. And I know that, my colleague Brooke Taylor knows that. She joins me every day for prayer. And Brooke, thank you for being here today. Good afternoon.

Brooke Taylor (1:33)

Hi Drew, good afternoon.

Drew Mariani (1:34)

Well, so I'm looking forward to seeing you coming up. You're gonna be anchoring the beatification coverage with me in just a couple of days now. You're getting all set for that?

Brooke Taylor (1:43)

It's so exciting. I, in fact, just received our Columbus magazine, our Knights of Columbus, that my husband receives, and they had a beautiful story about the Engstrom family. Of course, one of the miracles, little baby James at the time, who did not have a heartbeat for 61 minutes. I know we've talked about this story. You've in depth talked with the family, talked about the story, and we'll be hearing it this week. And it's exciting, because that's just one aspect. I had a chance to read Fulton Sheen's autobiography over the weekend. I couldn't put it down, and just, you feel the excitement of the whole church, the whole country. It's such an honor.

Drew Mariani (2:20)

Well, good, I'll let you do the heavy lifting then when we anchor the coverage.

Brooke Taylor (2:23)

Oh, sure.

Drew Mariani (2:25)

See what you're doing in your homework, Brooke.

Brooke Taylor (2:27)

I love it. Well, when I've got to work next to you, I better know my stuff, so I'm just trying to get ready.

Drew Mariani (2:32)

It's going to be great. I'm looking forward to doing it. So Relevant is going to be streaming the Beatification live, so you can go to Relevant Radio Plus, you can go to our Facebook platform. You can, of course, tune in, because we'll be broadcasting it over the airways as well. Brooke and I will be giving you some coverage as the Beatification takes place, and throughout the mass, you can participate virtually, and then I'll be live post the Beatification. And I probably will run a conversation I had with the parents of little baby Fulton, who received that miracle. And, of course, it should be great coverage, and we're looking forward to spending that time with you as well. Brooke, I know you do our news, and a little bit earlier, I guess it was last week, time seems to fly. There's a priest named Father Bowman, Brent Bowman, I think is his first name, who had an encounter with the Eucharist where he couldn't lift up the chalice.

So, I'm going to talk about that a little bit after the Chaplet is over, because it's gotten a lot of, it's sucked up a lot of air in social media. People are really talking about that. What was your take on that? Because I know you were going to report on that.

Brooke Taylor (3:34)

When you watch the video, I think, you know, we are in such a fast moving culture where if something doesn't grab your attention immediately, you can kind of move on, and it really pulls you in, and the gravity of the moment, you've not seen it, I don't know if you'll post it. I know you'll talk about it, Drew, but you can see that the absolute sincerity and awestruck wonder that is unfolding is almost like an iceberg. You see a little bit above the surface, but what's going on interiorly? Now, thankfully, he did release a statement, and I know that the Archdiocese did as well. I can't wait for you to talk about it. You talk about, especially Fulton Sheen, who had such an incredible devotion to our Eucharistic Lord in this time, I definitely think it's a time of renewal for us.
