Well, good afternoon and welcome. It's good to be here with you today. Thanks for joining me. Let's pray. Let's pray the chaplet. We'll call upon the angels, the saints, blessed Stanley Rother.
Let's pray for you. I don't know what you're going through today. We all have trials and crosses. We all have tribulations and hardships. Let's pray, pray, pray. You know, I was in chapel before the broadcast. I spent maybe 30 minutes with the Lord. And I was just thinking about prayer.
I was watching a video, YouTube video the other day, and somebody was talking about what what it does to the brain psychologically and just what happens with your brain waves and what it does to the body. A lot different than just sitting there and typing on a keyboard or watching a movie.
Prayer to me is more than a state of mind. It's probably the most underestimated force in the world because you can't measure it in a laboratory, right? You can't hold it in your hand. You can't put it on a scale.
And yet if you look at history, prayer seems to play such an incredible role in the most impossible situations. And you might be in one of those impossible situations right now and let's turn to God and let's believe that he who has established the laws of nature is not bound by them, right? That he can suspend them, as I like to say. He can surpass them. He can alleviate them. He can work through them. He could do whatever he wants according to his perfect wisdom and his great love for us. That's why the, that's why our Lord told the disciples, he says, you know, for human beings, this is impossible, but for God, all things are possible. Matthew 19, every miracle in scripture is a reminder of what seems impossible to you, but is not impossible for God. Nothing is impossible for him. So don't underestimate the power of your prayer. Do not underestimate the power of our united prayer here. And we might see prayers answered immediately. We got prayers testified to this week of people who called in, and when the chaplet was over, suddenly they've got the job, they've found the missing document, or whatever, within minutes of this prayer. And sometimes God will change your circumstances. Other times, he might just change your heart, so you may have to endure a little bit longer. But every one of our prayers bears fruit, and I'm convinced of that. So let's pray together, let's believe in miracles, and let's pray for one another as a power in it, okay? We got the great privilege today of praying with Brooke Taylor. It's always good to have her here with me. And Brooke, we missed you. Welcome back, good to pray with you today.
**Brooke Taylor** (2:54)
Hi Drew, excited to pray together, missed you also.
**Drew Mariani** (2:58)
Well, you've got a lot going on in your world, don't you? Next week is a big day for you. I probably won't have you on the air as frequently as I would like, but that's because you're super busy, right?
**Brooke Taylor** (3:09)
Well, yes, today we're actually starting a novena for our son, Grant, and his fiance, Olivia, because one week from tomorrow, they will be married. So that's exciting. That's our second son getting married in one year. And a lot of work. That's a lot for a mom's heart, but very exciting.
**Drew Mariani** (3:27)
That is funny. Two in one year is a lot. Are they close in age, or are they just having...
**Brooke Taylor** (3:31)
The boys are our oldest that got married in April. He's 24, and then Grant, who's getting married, is 22 And at the same time, he's starting law school. So just this age, there's so much to pray for for these young people, so much responsibility, so much pressure. A lot of unknown and uncertainty, and it's exciting for sure, but you just realize how much we need prayer. We need each other, families.
**Drew Mariani** (3:58)
Yeah, well, we'll pray for you. I know you're going to have a super busy week. There's often a lot of joy and happiness, but a lot of stress.
**Brooke Taylor** (4:04)
Praying for you too. Real quick, I want to mention, because I was looking on our YouTube, Drew, and I don't know, I have to thank Paul. He's like an MVP. He's always praying the Chaplet with us, and he is praying for every single person in my name at Relevant Radio. Jennifer Lee and Nick and the new baby on the way and the staff, and he also asked for the sale of his sister Melanie's house. So I just want to remember Paul and his intentions and Barbara on YouTube. She's praying for her daughter's liver scan, that the mass is benign and miraculously disappears.
