Thank you for taking some time out of your busy day to stop and to invite the Lord into your afternoon.

You'll be blessed for it. Today is a special day. It's the great feast of the Archangels and coming up right after the Chaplet, if I have time, I'll share with you a little bit about St. Faustina. St. Faustina had, I think, 70 different entries in her diaries about these different encounters that she had with the angelic. In fact, St. Michael was personally given by God to her, given the charge to protect and watch over her vocation there. Of course, look what she left us, right? This incredible devotion to divine mercy. This prayer you and I are about to pray was actually the origins of it. We're rooted in trying to disengage an angel of wrath, another angelic being. So we'll talk all things angelic coming up. If I have a chance, I'll share with you the story of a friend of mine who's a firefighter out of Chicago. Man, great angel story. We could take some of yours. I'll give you some insight into Faustina and to her devotion to the angels and much more. But today's a great day, so let's pray. If you can get the mask tonight, I think it's a great way to honor your angel as well as the great archangels, too. But if not, let's pray right now. We'll pray this prayer that... You might think about all the great saints, too, whether it's Pio or any of them. You go through them all. Faustina. They always have had these angelic encounters. Saint Gemma Galgani, who I recently have kind of fallen in love with, as well, another really powerful saint.

The angelic encounters they have are profound. We have this being that God has given us from the moment of our birth and is always with us. You're never alone. So I praise with you, watch over you, guard you, helps you on that path to your eternal home. So I'm going to offer my chapel today for those who are in purgatory. I know in a particular way for those who maybe don't know God today, because I'm sure those who don't calls their angel a lot of angst. It might be your child, might be your loved one, might be somebody in your life. Ask those angels to work powerfully in their life. I'm joined by Brooke Taylor today. It was good to have her with us as well. Brooke, thanks for being with me.

Brooke Taylor (2:37)

Good afternoon, hi Drew.

Drew Mariani (2:38)

It's great. Nick and I were talking a little bit about Lord's Holy Father just wrapped up his trip to Lord's. Relevant radio is going to be taking a trip, actually a pilgrimage. It hasn't been formally announced. I probably shouldn't be talking about it yet, but we're going to be announcing it in the days ahead. To France, and one of my favorite places in the entire world is Lord's. I think it's such an anointed special place, and there's been more documented healings out of that site than any other place on the planet.

I know you feel the same way. What were your thoughts on the Holy Father's visit? And of course, that whole connection to France and the Lord's.

Brooke Taylor (3:12)

That's so true. The images over the weekend and the last few days of Holy Father in France, particularly, he's embracing a girl with multiple disabilities. And then you see at Lord's, there was a mass and just as far as you could see, there were no tickets available. And Lord's is such a place of pilgrimage, of course, all over the world. But his homily, if you get a chance, I printed it out. I highlighted it.

I will admit I cried because as a mom of a special needs daughter, it really hit home and I think it does for everybody. And I just wanted to read a quick excerpt. But man, it's really worth reflecting on the entirety. He said, we all bring, he was addressing the pilgrims and talking about many coming from far continents traveling and bringing joys and burdens to the sacred grotto. But he goes on to say that the grotto stands as a place of Christian hope where no one is turned away due to their frailty. He says, your crutches, your wheelchairs, your hidden tears are not obstacles. Instead, they are the very place where you are fully respected and welcomed and where you can experience a transforming encounter with the infinite love of God.
