Hey, it's great to be here with you today. Thanks for joining me. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your afternoon, and thanks especially for praying for the Chaplet of Divine Mercy with me. If you have any intentions and you want to get them heard, I pray a lot for the intentions I hear here, because they're pretty serious things.
And I'm sure those who pray with me every day do the same thing. You hear an intention and it resonates with you, and you say, I've got to pray for that man or that woman. Feel free to try to call. I know phone lines fill up. It's 888-914-9149.

Yeah, thanks for having me, Drew. Highlight of definitely of the day.

**Drew Mariani** (1:16)
Thank you. It's one of mine, too. I love it. We can talk about all sorts of stuff on the radio program, but to stop, to be able to pray, to really just give our hearts to God. I mean, there's something special about it, and especially in this respect. I mean, it's not just me praying, but it's all of us praying together, and I think there's a real force in it. So I just love that. And then you want to pray for it? What's going on in your world? Anything new?

**Helen** (1:37)
So crazy story, Drew. Yesterday, there was a shooting out in downtown Seattle. My sister and her husband lived out there, and they were telling us that about an hour before, it was for this, like a food festival, you know, where everyone gathers. I think they anticipated like 3,500 people to attend. They had been there all day. They had just left to go to Mass. They were planning on going to Sacred Heart, which is right around the corner. And then this shooting happened. So the guardian angels were working overtime. So I would just like to pray for the chaplet in Thanksgiving for their protection, for the souls of the lives lost. I know there were 3 kind of fatalities and a lot of casualties, including small children.
And for everybody's protection these days, you can never be too, too careful.
And so we also had a good friend, just calling right before the program, who is asking for prayers for his son, John. He's gone through a current medical situation that's pretty dire, so for continued success and healing for John.

**Drew Mariani** (2:58)
Take for granted life, don't you? I say to my wife all the time, I said, you go to bed tonight and everything's fine, your day was great, you wake up tomorrow and life is radically changed. It could be a problem with a family member, could be a tragedy, could be a loss, could be that shooting, could be anything like that. So thank God for the present day and of course invoke your angels as well. And if you want us to pray for you, feel free to dial in and go ahead and do that. Nick is on our social media here too. Sure, thank you, Drew. Yeah, I'd like to pray for my wife who is pregnant and as we know, very close to having the baby, so prayers for her.
We're having some home issues today with the rain, so prayers that all gets resolved. And all those in Wisconsin that were affected by the tornadoes that went through and anyone who had damage or lost their property.

**Drew Mariani** (3:49)
So Nick is two to three weeks away from being a father again, which is great. That's pretty exciting. Nick, you're sporting a new look to here on our social media.

**Helen** (3:58)
That's right. I draw attention.

**Drew Mariani** (4:00)
Nick shaved his beard.

**Helen** (4:02)
I did. I love it.

**Drew Mariani** (4:03)
I looked at him and said, did you get your hair cut? And I'm like, oh yeah, he did. He shaved.

**Nick** (4:08)
I took the beard trimmer and I didn't realize I had a closer shave setting than I did. And all of a sudden, it all started coming off all at once. And I was like, well, I guess this is the time to do it.
